I have managed to get elven warriors (the original ones from bfme 1) back into my game and working. Problem is, i cant upgrade them with forge blades, fire arrows, heavy armor, or banner carriers. When i hover my mouse over the picture of the upgrade button in the palenter, it reads like normal saying "this power does such and such, research at an armory to equipt." After researching the upgrades, the button isnt selectable and they all say "this unit cannot recieve this upgrade." Any ideas how to fix this??

If this is for BFME 2 and you have the most updated version then the elves would be able to make the elven warriors.

BTW, try changing the upgrades (code) that are required for their upgrades (game)

in the elven warrior's commandset, you have to change the stuff from rohan to elven.

no i have bfme 2 not the rotwk expansion. but im talking about the warriors that switch from sword and bow not the plain old swordsman from the elven barracks. They are the ones from bfme 1 that rohan could make. Im trying to figure out how to fix those

You need to change the commandset of the Elven Warriors on the upgrades section. It is easier if you put them in the Men Faction. Since it is from BFME1 they still read the upgrades from that game, you will need to edit the commandset code for them so it reads the upgrades from BFME2. It should not be to hard to do it, just change the code so it matches to the Elven warriors from the Inn for men.
