there is an expert who can learn me moding? i want to help at some mods and i want to learn how to mod(edit wd3, textures,...) i look at the tutorials on http://www.the3rdage...y...der=&type=0 but i havent understand very much(just a little at modding gamedata, wop, new factions...).
not verry good at english. sorry

apelul? uh do you know what that means in dutch? :p
It seems you are having trouble understanding many things they say in tutorials, so if you need help just ask and say what part you do not understand.

i need help (most of all) at editing w3d. at .ini files i now something. i put Wop at Saruman

no, you got it wrong. i want somewan to help me to modifing w3d, textures and some harder ini codes. i now just to modify wops, build costs, build times, damage...(all in gamedata) and to edit the spellcost. of power
not verry good at english. sorry

wops? sorry i do not know what you mean by this :blush:

You can just change the 'value' after the definition of the macro :ohmy:
#define WILD_LUMBERMILL_BUILDTIME				30
30 = value
WILD_LUMBERMILL_BUILDTIME = macro :ohmy:

You need to save the new definitions in \data\ini\object\gamedata.ini or something like that, because you cannot overwrite the original file :ohmy:

spell cost as in from the spell book?
most are defined in Science.ini, but some may use 'macro's' as value ;)

He understands how to edit ini files, gamedata, special powers, etc. However, He would like some help with advanced coding.

There are some advanced guides on the website you can read, However your primary language isnt english and this may be difficult. Although, Any problems you encounter you can bring up on the forums.

There is a basic modeling tutorial on the website, If you havent already checked it out.. I suggest you do.

Also, What is your primary language?

You need to explain better, I dont understand what you mean exactly.... You know how to code, You dont know how to model?

I posted two links for you above, They are both modeling related. I suggest you read them.
