To make a chance to join the team you have to register and show what you can do. ;)

Awright. I've decided to pick up my BFMEs again (Fire Emblem level grinding somewhat discouraging me), and I decided that, since I haven't played the RC Mod since version... 1.03, I believe, I might as well get it now.

If I copied my BFMEII and RotWK directories onto an external hard drive, would that prevent the mod files from getting mucked up and preserve compatibility? Or is that completely unnecessary?

Thanks,
Athos

The BFME 2 RC Mod game should not overwrite any game files. You can install it wherever you want without any issues. If you do encounter issues, please let me know, i will do all i can to help you! ... to answer your question.... that external hard drive thing is quite unnecessary :p

Still to try other mods there should be no reason for you to uninstall the mod, unless you dont have enough space :p :p
Indeed do what Val said.

Ok rc won't work. Here is some info:

1. I have ROTWK installed and patched (I have the downloadable version, so I have no disk)
2. I installed RC mod from moddb (v. 1.07)
3. I tried to run the mod and it did not work. It gave me an error message and would not open once I clicked on singleplayer.

If anybody has help/advice that would be great.

Ok... Where did you install the RC Mod?
Whats the error?
Try running the updater for V1.07. You dont need to install the RC Mod on the location of your ROTWK install location if that is what you did! ;)

I was having the game crash after installing as well, so I went ahead and downloaded the RC Mod Updater which I believe should have fixed the problem, but when I tried to run the updater I just got a simple error box saying "This file contains invalid data".
