Installing the RC Mod

When I try to start , i get an Error:GameBaseFilesnotfound

I do have the collectors edition ,but that cant be the problem , can it?
Can you help me pls:)

check for in the place u installed the RC Mod if you can find a few .BIG files.
If not, download the updater and install it :p

I got 7 Big files in that directory :p

Ok... Open Regedit...
(start menu Run: (or win 7 Search))
RegEdit
then search for
The Battle for Middle-earth II - RC Mod

If you find that registry folder
Open it, and tell me what it all says, or make a screenshot whatever :p

Well an other problem , that reg edit opens and closes 5 seconds later...
Is that because it is vista?
If you want i can add you ad msn your from the netherlands sow you speak dutch ,
and i from belgium:p

I installed the game BFME 2 and installed the mod but it wont start...

So is it required to be the witch king expansion to run?

this is the message I get:

Anyone knows why it says this???

Is there a .BIG file in your install directory named RCData.big?
If not, name all the .BIG files in the directory...

Download and run the V1.07 updater... and run it, should fix your problems :)

men i got a problem i instaled the mod in bfme 2 1.6 patch i get the error ini data legend or something like i that installed the RCModInterfaceUpdater1.07 and fixed the error i restarted but when i launch the game i see the image with isengard tower saying rider clan mod and the frezes and doesnt respond !!!
please help me ive tried everything

Check to make sure you have a game2.dat in your install directory...
If not, go to: "??\The Battle for Middle-earth II - RC Mod\Support\RCMod Registrator.exe" and run the exe :)

yeah game2 is in the mod directory but i replaced it by the one that was in my BFME directory (did wrong ?) then i run the RCMod Registrator.exe but stills the same when i click in singleplayer it launches i see the "isengard tower saying rider clan mod" image but nothing happens stops respoding. I already reinstalled but same thing.

Thats strange... Do you have msn? perhaps its best we reslove it there?

i already tried to reinstall the game, update to 1.06, installed rc 1.07 mod then RCModInterfaceUpdater1.07 it freezes ive tried to copy game2 and used The Battle for Middle-earth II - RC Mod_code but same thing

You do know that all you need to run is V1.07 installer, and perhaps the updater, right?
IT may be the cause of the problem :)

sorry i wrote the wrong name what ive done was reinstall the game, update to 1.06, installed rc 1.07 mod then RCModUpdater1.07(not the interface one) and then i try to play the game but freezes and no i didnt instal the interface updater sorry again

You did not install the RC Mod at the same place as BFME 2 did you?
