((OOC EDIT: Yeah, I'm getting tired of this constant argument :p just saying.))

But constant argument is what makes it fun... for me... :)

Agreed. Plus it's fairly central to the character dialogue between Tom and Rindar.

Double post but oh well.

Morion turned away to look at Tom, who would not even glance at the face of the man in black. Morion sheathed his sword and walked away in silence, stepping into Rom's shadow.

Because Tom is unconcious...

SWG: by all means explain Zhar's connection to the ship, but don't go telling any ghost stories or anything. Not just yet. And Copa, we're not fighting any ghost zombie pirates. The ship is Zhar's, and he can do what he wants with it, pretty much.

Taralom: only the basic elements are planned, the big overall storyline. There's still plenty of room in the details, but said details will require both the Paladins and the Umbar to be alive and, if not thriving, then at least surviving. They're kind of important for the next chapter.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

Umbar has many outposts :)
This was just one out of many. The Paladin group will also survive. It's just about Gaurr and Varin right now.

ok, so the bloody mary's story and the stories and stuff we talked about will wait. So for now you only want us to get the ship and get going?

Haven't we just about killed all the Paladins there ever were? Not to mention the fact they got whoop-assed in their own city by a bunch of two and a half feet tall mind controllers?

Oh, I've got a bunch of pages to read, but I'll probably get back into the swing of at least one RP this weekend. Sorry about the two-and-a-half month hiatus from Revora. No doubt you managed just fine. You know I'm not too picky about you godmodding Shava. :p

The Paladin headquarters in the Maughold were destroyed, but the order was widespread and numerous. There are plenty of others out there, just not nearly so many as before.

And yes, let's get the hell out of here already.

Might I suggest that we begin a new Chapter, starting with the posts after Copa's "looking to the future" one? Seems like the storyline developments could use it.

EDIT: Just to say, your latest post was fantastic, SWG. Great job :p

Mike, you advice has been taken and the new chapter has begun. Now do your part and get postin'! That applies to all of you. And IRS, if you want to bring in Astariel and her lad Byron, now's the time. Rock and roll, fellows.

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

Do you mind if I bring in the long-delayed harbingers of Rom's Blood-Oath, Vort? Could give me something to do :p

By all means, go ahead. There won't be time or opportunities for personal vendettas later on, so now's your chance. :p

Who's been PM'd? I haven't... Maybe you should try again?

I meant to mention, by the way: the markets around the docks are dug out of the hillsides, so they're all underground, reaching back under the city above which is where the richer folks live and conduct their business. It's basically two cities, one on top of the other, one rich and one poor. Houses VS slums, you get the gist. There are giant mirrors on the ceiling reflecting the sunlight during the day, augmented by some kind of pretty cool magic. You'd have to ask the wizards about that one. Anyway, underground city gets good lighting. It's also where most of the other races in Anharad live, all their deathknelf, dwarves, gnomes, Minotaur, a few elves, a few Furya, more than a few Drow and, of course, plenty of humans. They're like a plague.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

I guess i'll make a new topic at some point, that will be set on the boat, where Zhar tells the group about the Bloody Mary and himself as its captain.

anyway, this is all pretty cool stuff going on. Lets up it keeps up at this level. :p

On an as-yet-unremarked-upon note, can we please stop making all the Paladins so evil? Most of them aren't. They're an order of dedicated religious warriors, most of whom are perfectly holy and would not seek to do harm to strangers. Nobility of spirit is a common theme among them. It was mainly just Vayu who was the arsehole, as he had been manipulating the order to serve his own ends and was thoroughly evil, but clever enough to hide it while promoting a few with similar political agendas. The rank and file of the Palatinate are not evil, or even bad people.
