Give the Rangers a toggle and you've got expensive soldiers that are great archers, and get's chopped due to lack of armor in close combat... especially if you engage them yourself into close combat..

...Dont think we will give them toggle, but the forged blades for the 'close range' attack may be done :p

well, if you really find it necessary for them to have the ability to upgrade their swords, which they aren't suppose to use, at least not if the battle is going well, and when you don't decide when they fight with them, and overall it just gives them better defense in a way that they inflict more damage on their enemy...

You could just give them Heavy Armor....
see my point? :p

I see, maybe we could give them heavy armor that eliminates their stealthyness (they do become invisible near trees right?)

Trying to hold on...

Well... I get why the Rangers having weapon toggle would defeat the purpose of ranged combat (and those darn Soldiers! :D)... but I'm not quite sure why there are no stealthed melee units for Gondor. After all, Tolkien did write that the Ithilien soldiers all had either spears or swords in addition to their bows... and since Faramir has a toggle, why not his men? :p

we may just not do anything to the rangers :p
They are good enough already IMO :D
... @ Dethwaker3 - Yes they are Faramir's animations i believe :p

To all other people, we might make more heroes, but units gondor has more than enough
We will most likely not change much to gondor's units... and the rangers will not get toggle ;)

I agree with RG. Gondor has already enough units.

Or should we get to the point where there is too much choice and you end up to hate gondor because you can't choose which unit to train and be defeated every time because of wrong choices?
