Actually, wasnt RA1 after 1945? Because Einstein gone back in time to a post war epoque.

By the way, Allies also had clonning technology. Its impossible that Tanya only seems five years older when about 30 years passed, lol.

Yeah. I know. I know that it supposedly follows on from the Allied campaign of RA1, but personally I don't buy it.

After all, the Chronosphere and Iron Curtain had both been invented once. Why the heck would you invent them AGAIN?
I think that storyline was just a way of getting people into the "Sequel" mode. Through the use of a few recurrences (Einstein, Soviet invasions, Chronosphere and Iron Curtain), they try to give the idea that they're connected.


Personally, I reckon we can erase RA2 from the storyline conjunction. It has no relevance to the Red Alert story, and it has none with the Tiberian story either. Even though I involved it in my Kane-was-cloned idea, I really think RA2 is a bit more of a cash-in than an actual sequel.

If we were to erase RA2, then making the two slot together becomes a little bit easier, IMO...

well the iron curtain was rebuilt... according to Sofia in Soviet Mission 11 - Red Revolution in RA2. The chronosphere had to be upgraded and all the numerous bugs of the old version have been "ironed out"

RA2 is set in 1972. (look at the allies win magazines )

I'm guessing RA was set at least after 1946, because that's when Einstein went back and changed history. That's my theory, anyway.

I'm sure in one of the mission videos it is made clear the RA2 tanya is the RA1 tanya's daughter, or I might have just read that on the internet.

AG is right about the RA2 date, its one of the papers that fly around in one of videos i think. RA1 is somewhere between 1946/1950, AFAICR.
