Also, i strongly feel that we need to somehow bring some form of order to this massive conglomerate of various stories and games, not even off the same genre.

Im thinking maybe having them separated onto different planets or something??? and we will need to figure out how various different versions of earth are going to merge.

Maybe we should pick a couple of 'dominant' storylines, and have the other ones just having events and people 'slotted in'
(i can see how some storylines could fit in easily enough, like combining the Halo and Star wars storylines, which are both futuristic sci-fi's, but i dont see how we will fit some of the sci fi and fantasy ones together nicely(eg, LotR and Star wars)...

Maybe have the fantasy worlds on a different 'dimension' to the sci fi-ish worlds, and just have gateway type things between them?

It sounds like it could be a good idea, but it also sounds like it has a great potential to be a giant flop without the right organisation.

Or maybe you should stop with the damn categorisation of everything you come across! Maybe this will work just fine as a big mess of storylines and characters, all thrown in together. Of course, there needs to be an overarching storyline, but that is really up to IRS.

Actually, the storylines of all of the stories won't matter at all once the characters get to Earth... the heroes will want to get back to their stories so they can own the villains, the villains will want to stay on Earth so they won't get owned... Thus, it's basically just trying to get everyone back in their stories.

Anyways, I'd happily participate in this RP, it sounds good; I'm presuming Me and Copaman are going to have a big fight over who haves the honor of playing the "Master Cheef".

I feel sad that I'll probably not be runner up for Gordon Freeman's Part.

Oh, and add a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Portal Part, we could maybe even squeeze in a little C'N'C since it's a big part of the forum.

So... the universes aren't all joined together, just all the characters have randomly appeared in 'the real world'?

Cause then you wouldn't have to sort it (Vort, despite your dislike for my categorisation, you have to admit that if the whole 'universes' from every storyline were mixed together, it would very chaotic, and the extreme differences between storylines could cause some major issues, and it would probably not work out very well/at all)

A certain amount of balance and order should be maintained. And i agree it needs an overall storyline to follow, our collective characters need an awesome storyline to drive them forward, and have it more then just 'all the bad guys are fighting all the good guys'.

Some of the bad guys would make alliances, Others would become enemies, same with the good guys, not all would team up with each other.

No Way Master Chief is equal to Doom guy(s) or Gordon freeman!
Dont you remember that time where gordon freeman owned master chief with only his crowbar and overwhelming awesomeness?
And doom guy would just own him because master chief is a worse copy with less awesomeness
Also, Portal is part of the Half Life universe, so its already included.

And yeah, i was gonna suggest adding the C&C universe(including the red alert universe in that too), but then i didn't
(its so hard to decide on just 2 charaters... Yuri would be awesome)

Also, add in TF2

There are so many storylines we could add... are we going to keep adding more and more? or stop at some point

Hey, the world is a chaotic place. Nothing is actually as ordered as you would like it to be, so why pretend? I'm just going to deliberately fuck with it if you do.

IRS, this looks to me like it has enough support for launch. Just to check: IRS, me, SWG, Jenkins, Mórvír, Vithar, TLC, Copaman, Ravnin, Florisz (?). That looks like more than enough to me, and you might even get a couple of new faces for this once it's up and running. I'll give FZM a PM and tell him to come have a look, because I feel a tad guilty about caretaking his place without even telling him.
