Failed another exam, fuck. 2 out of 3 is a joke. If I haven't learned now, then I'm forever fucked.

You were great in the first match. The 2nd were a bit less impressive, but you still looked rather solid. I was certain that it stood against Czech and Poland about 2nd place, so I watched that game, so can't comment on your performance today. From what I hear, it was the worst yet :p

We were 1st place!! Greece won from us, in which they ended in 2nd place, and Czech won from Poland which suddenly put them in the first place, the ironic thing is, Russia, like you said, won a crushing victory over Czech Republic, 4-1. And they get the first place , Russia is out.

I know. But I was thinking that Russia would surely not lose to Greece, hence why I thought the other match would be more exciting to watch, since they were fighting to be number 2, behind Russia.
But that's football for you :p

I think the dutch won't win :xd:
They really messed up the first to matches, and even if this one is decent, they need to play really well in order to even stay in :p

Now my stupid god-damn neighbours (read: the entire block) will take down their multitudes of excessive orange decorations.

Thank you Portugal.

Really though, this tournament has really brought out the one thing I hate the most in Dutch culture: everybody has been whining about the economic depression and how they can't buy as much as they used to, but then statistics say that this year there has been a 30% increase in money spent on football-related nonsense compared to the world cup a few years ago. Orange flags, banners, stuffed animals, t-shirts, beer dispensers, beer, orange cakes, orange food, orange everything. And indeed, when I look around, the craze does seem to rage twice as hard as usual.

This is so typically Dutch. Everybody whines and nags and talks as if they're all on food stamps, then spends half their paycheck on shit they don't need and will throw away a month later.

No fuel left for the pilgrims

Oh god the Dutch are turning into Americans. At least it's only half their paycheck.

Sorry to all you guys, but the team I'm supporting this year (Portugal) got through! Woopwoop! Although I'm on the usual Scottish anyone-but-the-English stance in regards to the winner :p

True that, the Dutch are also known as one of the most stingy people in the world, but that makes them also one of the richest countries.

Oh god the Dutch are turning into Americans. At least it's only half their paycheck.

Well, the Dutch are, together with the Western part of Germany, the country which is the most influenced by the Americans in Europe. The other European countries are not very pro-american though.
