To learn how to model your going to need 2 programs, Renx/gmax (free version of 3ds max) and the w3d viewer (comes in the bfme2 SDK)

Once you have renx, your going to need to set it up for modelling. That includes adding a script to allow renx to import w3d files (the extension for the models). There's is a tutorial on the site referencing this I do believe.

Once you have that working, you have to import a model. Be sure to import the model named ------_SKN and not ------_SKL because the SKL is not a model, just the bones for how the animation is layed out. The SKN is the actual model. (also be sure that the SKL and SKN for whatever unit your trying to import is in the same folder or else your model will look skwey in renx.

We don't mind helping you. We will help you if you ask for help. What we object to (and I think I am safe in saying I speak for quite a few members of the community) is your asking for us to do the job for you.

The other option is to get yourself a mod team. Bounce your ideas around, get a team together, and get other people to help where your skills are not. Example: If I were to make a mod, and I was good at coding but sucked at mapping, I could either:
-Take the time to learn how (Best idea) or,
-Start a mod team and get a mapper on it.

Notice in the above example I did NOT go around asking "Hey, would someone make my maps for me?" In the hypothetical mod I was asking "Does anyone want to work with me on a mod?" The turnout for the second question will be more positive.

don't you want to help me. answer me sooner plz

Patience is a good thing, and modding requires a lot of it. Also, here at Revora, many of us have other lives, too. Our life is not dedicated to modding. (OK, my life is not dedicated to modding.) Some of us here would help you, if you would take the effort (yes, modding requires a LOT of effort) to help us help you. When SDK Kwen asked you what you didn't understand, you responded "editing models". Now we know what you needed help with in the first place. Now, if you would narrow that down, what is the first NARROW part you don't understand? If we can figure out what it is you have trouble with, we can help you. But we won't do it for you. You have to work to your own goals.

EDIT: If any mods are reading this, I think it might be time for a lock.

The goal of the tutorial is to teach you how to model, what part do you not understand? (I expect your reading my tutorial?)

You shouldnt expect others to do everything for you... Have you tried to create a big file yourself? If you have already created your assets, what is stopping you from creating a big file yourself?

You mean you want us to do it. There is no reason we should.

Where did you put your .big file? you put it in My Battle for Middle-earth Files right?

Then made a shortcut linking it using the -mod command?

We won't "do it for you" we will help you "do it yourself".

That way you don't have to learn by looking at what someone else did, you will have done it yourself.

Alike i said, dont expect people to fix it for you. Now, I took a look and your problems are...

File locations - all your assets (Code, Models, etc) are in the directory of "Models\FileName", Instead they should be alike so:
Models - art\w3d\models_here
Textures - art\textures\textures_here
Codes/INI Files - data\ini\
Asset.dat - Does not require a directory/folder.

Your heroes object name is wrong inside playertemplate.ini, Instead of "ElvenElrond" it says "GondorElrond".

Once you have fixed the problems, recreate your asset.dat.
