Hey all
I apologise if this has already been addressed but I couldn't find it in any searches I completed before posting.
I'm trying to add new Hero Portraits to an already modded game. The wonderful people working behind RJ's Rise of the Witchking mod have done a fantastic job, thus far, and I know it's always risky to mod someone else's mod but I was just trying to get some custom palantir images I've made into it.
For example, I've modded GilGalad into the game and he doesn't have a hero portrait, which I have made. I've followed all the usual steps using Asset Cache Builder: putting the portrait in a folder that begins with the same two letters that starts its name, then putting that in the art/compiledtextures folder in RJ's mod folder. Then I added the entire art section of RJ's mod into the Asset Cache Builder folder, ran the program and got the asset.dat file.
I then went into GilGalad's ini file and referenced the portrait and then mapped the image in aptimages.
After this I switched the Asset.dat files round. Thankfully, I didn't delete RJ's original as when I started the game everything was pink, and my portrait didn't show up.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

I may be sounding completely dumb, but do I put all the RJ Art in there too? And where exactly is that folder?
Thanks

Its in the mapped images folder.... in INI which is in DATA
And yes all the RJ art should be in there too...
With that i mean the things that you put in aptimages.ini
