I was wondering about what types of units you currently have i.e the Tech tree
If you played SW BattleField ,The Clones had commando units with powerful cannons
and scout units with Droid Orbs
The Droids had Droids on Speeders
What is your plan for RTD2 : Healer / BuffPowers / Repairs ??!

Are Clone Lancers going to be included? It would be an excellent opportunity to put in a cavalry style unit.

Eh, is 3PO gonna be in there to translate? He could have an untamed allegiance style power than allows him to take over Ewok lairs and whatnot
Exactly what we were thinking actually Dominate creeps power.
Jedi will be the only strictly melee units...and oh, magnaguards too I guess.

Suggestion: you could make some jedi's have the lightsaber throw power, it could work as gimli's axe throw but with boomerang effect idk, something like that!

It would probably be preferable if the rangefinder weapon for the horde could be adjusted to account for it, though. It would take a lot less time.

I'm a noob in coding, skinning and overall modding, so please don't take my suggestion too seriousI think it's possible to do boomerang-style projectiles. I think i've heard of it done. Never done it myself, though. I mean, why would you want to is a normal LotR mod? But it would be pretty cool for the Jedi. Can't think of how to do it, though.
Would it be possible to take the "Axe throw" ability of Gimli and let him throw the axe to his enemy, then use the same code but alter it a bit to get the axe to fly back to Gimli? When you've got the code and all, you can change the projectile and the user.
please take note that, until further notice, I don't care, so get lost.

to make it go back i think i would need to then add an additional weapon to every unit and then trigger it.

You can create an OCL that is triggered when the projectile is dead, which has a weapon that can only target the jedi who uses the throw ability, then coordinate the packing time with the second weapon launch time.
Wouldn't look good though
