Right, so at the moment we have a couple of maps for Star Wars: Twilight Of The Republic. I would like to see what you budding artists out there can do. If you've got a skill with maps, and are interested in creating maps from the Clone Wars era of Star Wars then why not let us know and we'll check out some of your work. Submissions that have been accepted will gain you Staff membership and access to the mod before anyone else! :p

And the best map would get it's own showcase with possibilties of Shell Map potential

Some inspiration, I love the atmosphere on this map.

Excellent, what location would you like to do? Anything within the Clone Wars era would be great such as Naboo, Tatooine, Kashyyk, Utapau to name but a few, really whatever you feel like doing. And if their is a need for a model on the map then I can provide that. Again thanks for the offer, having you on the team in any capacity would be great.

Well Naboo will have three locations I'm thinking, the swampland, the plains & Theed so whichever you want to do is cool or if you want to include all three on one map, that's cool too, I have all the necessary units in game for the battle of Naboo now anyway, well the land side of it. Just need to put in Gungans and Gungan weaponry... but indigenous creeps and aliens are way down the line.

we dont have the naboo units though the whole theed guards and the like and we dont have the really really cool trade federation heavy transports

As I've mentioned before I'll be glad to make a map. I prefer to make heavy scripted ones (single or multiplayer) rather than skirmish maps, though I could do either.
I might need some modelling from Ed (map props) so everything looks just right :p
Right now I'm kinda busy with exams, but after that I'm open for concepts!

If you're doing the swamp, maybe you could commission a model or two of wrecked Federation landing crafts... that would be pretty cool. :p

There is no real necessity for walls, although later on down the line, I would think it's a definite possibility, I plan on introducing a power for R2D2 called "HACK" which allows him to convert enemy buildings/vehicles for a limited time, this power would allow access to bases which would otherwise be guarded by walls, it's something I thought would work well with R2D2 given his role in the movies.

So seeing as some activity seems to be starting again, i thought that i'd love to do some mapping for you :p I'm a bit busy at the moment with mapping for TDH, but i'll definitely dust off BFME2 and have a go.

Did you want most of the maps to be 2 players considering there's only 2 factions? And did you need farm plots/capturable buildings etc?

Also, were there any other maps done since Geonosis? I was thinking of Kashyyyk if it hasn't been done already :)
