What can we do to improve Revora? Feel free to post here whenever you have an idea or complaint. We'll be glad to hear them

(but included crappier ones like... world of warcraft, which, shouldn't that just go under the 'Warcraft' section? maybe as a sub forum within that?)

If you meet me:
Have some courtesy,
Have some sympathy,
And some taste.
Use all your well-learned politesse,
Or I'll lay your soul to waste.

"Dang Nabit! Something is afoul in my well!"
I say we make ourselfs look more professional. All we are is a list categorizing sublists and those sublists containing more of the same and topics. IPB is a limited piece of crap, but we can separate the community and the games more. Other than a new design... just more promoting is needed since we have a big need for diverse members. All my other suggestions require money, and I ain't Captain Crunch.

As for Diablo, it's just far too hard to mod, and their are no real big mods for it, so to create it's own section would be rather redundant. If there is a big request and we get some mods in for it, sure, I'd be happy to make a new section for it, but for the time being, it's SC2, WC3 and WoW.

I swear it might be easier to find a modeler than a graphics artist.

It would also help us recruiters find members; as some people might want to start a clan and they want their own private section, and we can lead them down here. Could even have tournaments... But should be something to consider.

But FPS is the way to go when hosting clans. I have experience in this field, well should do as I'm hosting leader lol, but what clans want is a site, forums and then something special, the something special I'm thinking of is a cheap ventrillo server, that's IF we can host the servers without causing too much problems for Revora.
If not, then go for the sites and forums, we may need to make a new site for it though, I was thinking something like:
klanhost.net
This could work, but it'd take a lot of work to do. If we can set up the domain and GET THE SITE DONE FIRST, then all should be well. Would we need a forums for it? Probably not, just use the hosting application form, or create a new one on the new site just for clans.
Anyway, there's all my ideas in one post, so trash away lol.

That site name sounds like a KKK recruitment site or something.klanhost.net
Sounds like an interesting idea but it will be hard to compete with sites that have established clans. This may be most successful with SC2. If we can get everything set up before the game is released, people can join right away.

The only media type we don't appear to have hosting for is 3D models, for the likes of Generals and later games. This is certainly an option we can provide for, if people are willing to submit such material.
