CNCNZ uses IPB and it works on there. Not sure what they did but I do know it's possible.

Is there a way to know hits that are using mobile devices?  I've always been curious to see how accessible the site is, based on stone cold statistics.

Google analytics would show that. I know they use it here.

Google Analytic only covers so far and wouldn't be a defined/complete spectrum of our visitors

best way to know is actually check IP Boards admin panel or something, most CMS's have tracking and hit counters imbedded to monitor traffic etc etc.

 

I wouldn't know much about IPBoard but its probably hidden somewhere there.

Feature: If you quote someone and press enter inside that quote, you should automatically divide the quote into two parts. That would make it much easier in longer statements to comment different aspects within the quote.

Not possible as IPBoard uses static chat boxes, you could edit it manually, besides we've seen how it looks when you do it, its quite unsightly with the large blobs of quoted text.

 

try editing it manually by switching to BB code, you can see how tags work then and even cut down someones text

And you do NOT miss out high % of people who try to join

can't manage multi pwd etc.  and think ... I must be stupid,

this is not for me.

 

Make it for them happen too by simplyfying things, if possible.

How about not accepting automatic embedded video media input in the Shoutbox, just like the CNCNZ forums? All video links in the shoutbox should be just links and not embedded videos.
