Ahhh.. ok how did you manage it? I like it after listening more to it. We do need much MUCH more sound fx!

Ahhh.. ok how did you manage it? I like it after listening more to it. We do need much MUCH more sound fx!

Well...the base of the sound was death scream from now-dead fx database. I rised the voice so it sounded little more girly (face it, eldars are not very masculine. You might hear some weirdness in the voice in the end) and little echoing.

If it has explosions or such cool stuff - im SO in.

Use the vanilla explosion sounds used when vanailla vehicles die. I have all 19 vehicle death sounds if you wish.

You'll notice, I believe, in our voice list we have spots for some sounds.. if you could provide some proposed samples of those sounds that would rock!

Yeah, if you've got loads of screams etc. you could start doing all the unit death lines. With up to 4 per unit, that's a lot to be getting on with.

Well we only need some voice screams and perhaps some wierd FX whenever the SpiritWalker speaks. Stuff that we can mix into a recorded voice to add some serious psychedelic-ness. :cool2:

I'm just perplexed why that unit was recorded differently than others? Do you recall what you did differently? I just can't see any difference between the wav files of the original to the new one. You must have done something different..

I guess this would be good backround for walker speech. Tried to make it sound darker, as walkers are touched by Slaanesh

And then there is this - miracle death FX. I dont even recall creating it, but i found it from folder with other chaos related sounds. I guess it was meant for Thousand Sons mod. Take a listen! I think is fine. Dont ask about the name, i have no idea.

Im pritty sure it was ment for marine, as you can hear ghostly death scream and power armor falling (i think). Sounds familiar, but i guess i have played with base sound or something. Feel free to use.

YES! F*CKING YEAH! Im so damn lazy to make FXs so i always try to find something old before creation anything new. This is same with above voice - another of those "Drunk FXs" that i didnt even know that existed. The folder is two years old, so i think it was something halloween stuff.
But so, here it is, ghostly FX to mix, one longer for alt.backround:

Yeah that last set of GHOST FXs are extreme! I need more of those and tons of variations. Wraith Guard to the max and I'll have those sound in-game immediately. I can see such sounds with em as more assertive Wraith Lord sounds.

The Exit3 one would be perfect multi-modified in different variations for use elsewhere on other units.

Gemana - yeah this stuff I cannot get done by mere voice actors. You're role here for custom sound FX are absolutely paramount to adding new flair to the project!
