I guess that is meant for all revora mods and reality of modding is that it is very much burning out creativity in big doses and breaks kinda needed to fresh up.

In my case most of months have been going into trying finetune performance which is hard on RA2 engine, which the closest fans will be seeing personally before all.

Motivation is what drives or dooms mods as most projects die out when they run long so its motivation at core of everything.

Modding takes top priority over everything else INCLUDING Real Life,studies,and family trouble of any kind.

You're just a filthy troll and thus not worthy of our attention. Go back under your bridge, or even better, we'll fire you out of the nearest ion cannon so you won't be bothering us again.

But for all the others who seem to wonder at what's going on at the moment you see in modding it generally comes to this..

Stuff goes a lot faster if you have money, moola, denarius, and as we don't have any of that stuff development goes slow as it should. Donating would be a good thing, as then we can get good voice actors and stuff.

If you want to help RS in the best way it would be taking up 3D modeling, however talent needs to meet these expectations. Because we are nostalgic gamers that see work on a 2D engine as still excellent, viable games however most modelers look at it and go "3D is teh future" and abstain, an almost shocking trend. Even more stranger is that they'll sign with another 3D intensive mod that never gets off the ground rather than view the content RS has which is more or less 80% done in terms of multiplayer beta.

That's not to say the RS team has been slacking as yes overhauls have been done on modifying the YR engine. Mainly the whole YR lag thing has been worked on to make it run tons more faster by removing crap that now makes it run like a decent game as anyone can remember when you had two BFs and a heck of a lot of Rhino tanks the game would slow to a crawl.

very few have done this. and apollo has done it. and we can all thank him for that.

Well, nothing worth saving when its just quick rant how all modders on this site or others need to work their asses off and do nothing else but their mod 24 hours a day since his got free time and got nothing to do. I wasn't particularly annoyed but elerium was.

Mods are just hobby, if they were like corporate game production, often they would suck like many games recently do and sadly most mods usually endup half-baked anyway for various reasons or just canceled.

1.99 was half baked and 2.0 has tried hard to do better.
