Something that isn't a weapon! I'm working on this elvish shoulder armor for Third Age Total War. Ignore the odd vertical stretching in the top-left render.

Some Rohirrim arrows. I'll probably have to scale down the heads on the first three and there needs to be some space between the fletchings and the nock of the arrow.

That's right! Are you the same Lu Bu that is working on the Isengard redevelopment and helped Louis Lux with some models?

I think the arrowheads need an edge. They have a point, but the edges are squared off.

Yeah, you're probably right, I just need to figure out how to do that without raising the polycount too much.

Just extrude the outer polygons, then weld the vertices together. Shouldn't raise the polycount too badly.

It's been about five months, but I've finally managed to make headway again on my model of Faramir's sword. This hand-guard was a b**** to model.

Looks really good; I would actually use more polygons for the hand-guard to smooth it out even more. I think you should try texturing this in high detail next, if you're comfortable with that.

Yeah, it could use a few more at the end and in various other places. I'm really not satisfied with it, but there aren't any particularly good reference photos to work with and the shape of it is really difficult to work with. Also, I'm really pretty bad at texturing. It's a shame given how much I've put into this model.

Hooah! Sorry the images are so large. The model is 2322 polygons!

It looks too pointy in my opinion, you know, at the stabbing part :p

I don't deserve particularly much credit, but this model turned out to be too awesome for me not to post it here. Soul_Reapir did the modelling, I did the mapping, and Louis Lux did everything else. Without further ado; LURTZ!!!

I have discovered the wonder that is hard edges in conjunction with the auto-smooth tool. Here's Sam's barrow-blade.
