Is there any way to (using hex editing) change in fortress_men.bse model of fortress? I mean - I made a new fortress on the model of fortress of men and i want to make new base what will look same as .bse of men, but with other model (or there is other way to do that).
PS
If somebody will understand that what i wrote, he's genius!

A proper base file will have a bunch of structures with different build priorities. Maybe you're too zoomed in?

I'm sure i'm not. I press ctrl+o, then go to bases and choose "fortress_men". But there's nothing showing ont the map.
EDIT:
Are your Worldbuilders (BFME 2) opening .bse files?! My wb seems to open it but there aren't any structures on map. WB from BFME 1 is opening bases without problems!

That's crazy... Do you have any ideas to open it on my WB? Did you have this problem too? I reinstaled the game but it didn't do anything...

You sure you extracted the BSE files correctly?

I'm sure i did. I extracted it to direct folder of BFME 2 using FinalBIG (i also tryed with Dragon Unpacker).
EDIT:
I also saw that my WB doesn't open .map files from maps.big and libraries.big!

I have discovered that WorldBuilder (BFME 2) can't get access to read files from some directories. So, I moved the files to My Documents folder instead, and now it finally works! It couldn't read from the game directory nor the AppData/Roaming place neither.
