So, it came to this that I decided to finally make a public release of the mod. The progress was pretty slow, and it seems I won't be able to work on it anytime soon.
I understand it may be not the best release I could make. Some people may say that I should have waited with the release, but the mod wouldn't go any further than it is already anyway. For quite some time I've been unable to move on with what have been done, and I just had to do something to leave it behind.
This doesn't mean I stopped working on Doom Desire. I'm still willing to finish what I started, and will do so if I won't be too busy with real life. The version you are being given simply reached a "dead end" - it took me way too much time to make it look the way it looks, and I can't no longer make myself to work on something I'm going to redo almost from scratch.
Anyway, I hope you'll be having a few hours of fun while playing it. All the links are in this topic.

It should work with both Special and Autumn edition, so you can use any of those.

Well, too late as I just tried with NP 1.00
Well,it worked,buggy,but worked...
Somehow both SE and AE fail to install properly, although everything is original(Hell, its TFD) and keeps acting like ass >.<
Yet,played it,and can't say it wasn't a bit fun.Yet the AI is kinda...don't know.It acts very nicely at the beggining of the game, yet later it acts bad,as if I wouldn't exist.Keeps sending the same number of units in the same place...

Could be so. Did you try all the AI difficulties or just one? The easy (faint) doesn't differ much from unmodded YR, except for different units used.
