Hey guys
So i saw the post you made in the T3A forums, and i'd be sort of interested in joining IP. Before i make a decision though, could i ask what being a member would involve? I'm sort of mapping exclusively for TDH at the moment, as i really support the mod and would like my maps to be released (at least for the first time) as part of the mod alone

I've already written a tutorial on mapping based on my own methods here: Extended Guide to Mapping.
I'd be more than happy to impart advice to some of the more beginner mappers on a more one-to-one basis (which is what i gather IP is a little bit about..?)

Anyway, here's a small portfolio of my currently finished maps. Click on the thumbnail to view a few screens of each one I can give more screenshots on request too.

I would venture to say welcome to the team , but it's up to Pas. Your maps look great, and for being part of the team you wear the tag (not a big deal, could use a sig) and continue to show us your work. You can keep mapping for TDH too, as i map for RJ but on maps i work on in spare time i throw them in here for people to see.

That is by no measure a small portfolio, and by God it's a damn fine one! I know I'd love to have you on the... team?
Pasidon can decide what to do, I'm really only an administrative leader - ie. I keep things orderly and clean.
(Hmm, I seem to like playing the role of minor policeman.)
Unfortunately, a number of factors (A-levels, uni preparation, not spending as much time on the laptop, Rob temporarily AWOL from RJ-ROTWK, dwindling interest) has led to me not mapping any more. I hope that with the advent of Dawn of Fantasy (check my sig, if you want) will rekindle it during Summer, but I have bigger priorities and I just don't have the inspiration any more.

Ahh not much... Except!:

You shall wear the {IP} tag on your display name! both on the internet and in the real world.
You shall make some maps that people will admire and they will be copyrighted to the corporation behind IP (aka. Sauron's Scam Services Inc.)
You shall swear allegiance to the IP clan and it's leaders. If you break your vow you shall be thrown into the depth of Pasidon's lair!
If or when the leaders of IP ask you to jump... You Jump!

Thats the basic version... I'm sure Pasidon can think of a few others



Anyway there is not much about being a member than: make a map once in a while, help people with mapping issues and write tutorials perhaps.

You took quite some time to show us some fine work. Yea, you're in. What does that mean for you? You're an elite and a brother now. What you can do now is help teach new comers how to map, be employed to help out mods... up to you on that too. We often get contracts from people who need mapping help, and you can accept a contract. We're the source for mapping help, so you're now the tool that can provide that help. And there's more details you'll discover later on, but just know for now you're a legend and what-not.

By the way... we always have one {IP}elite for every game category and we just might get that title when we get enough BFME mappers. Spread the word of us.

Like i said, i'll prob be mapping for TDH more than anything, but i'm more than happy to teach and give advice to beginners, and do the odd comission
