i'm not sure if this qualifies as fan art.
but i made a techno song using contra sound files.

the one who guesses then all gets to name it(or kinda)

Ofcourse it is considered as fan art. Keep up with work.

so here is the 99% finished song
it will stay at 99% finished because actually i always stay tweaking my osng for eternety.

i fixed some timing errors, made it less chaotic, changed the build-up a little and revamped the melody.
that also metn i had to cut down the quality even kroe since its 17!MB at full quality

oh and ill (still) name it after the one who guesses all the sounds i have used
(it goes on youtube)

Actually, Contra added voices from other games. The ones I'm sure are from Dawn of War.

"Their primitive weapons are no threat to us." = Tau voice (I can't remember which unit)

yes, tau's units voices are from dawn of war.
but nto all of them.
they where(in chronological order)
"ready for battle" assault artillery.
"everything will go up in smoke" inferno cannon
"i will do this alone" haezel
"no problem+their primitive weapons are no threat to us" omega cannon.
"if there must be battle we will make it swift" manticore.
the transition form climax to outtro was building collapse(wich ironicly is lauder then a nuke)
at the very end is the opponment defeated sound
and i made a small drumloop of the quad bolters sunds, the china sniper gun and the AT sniper cannon.

i thought a nice contest owuld be ncie but it seemed it was a little to hard

Wow nice man, its better then the first, but still blows my sound set. But still in the beginning, a little less chaos would be good.

nice man, i can see you improve. though i know nothing about making wallpapers at all the high-res background looks kinda od compared to the low-res models. you can either make the skin more detailed, but i dont knwo hwo much work that is(probably a lot). or you could use generals background. because now it kinda looks like they float on the picture. its nice though.

i find it easy to follow, since it has only 3 layers.

Well, it seems like the beat is off in the beginning... I dont know exactly how much, or if its off at all, but it also might be a different way of beats. Ill look into it for you

EDIT: I got it! I know why it seems off beat. You used 9 beats between each quicker section. Normally this is either 8, 4 or 2. I suggest using 8

you are right. i now fixed that error and its 8 beats-distortion-4beats-distortion now.

maybe its better to talk though PM's though since its fan art and not music discussion topic

Can i ask what you used to view the models in? I cant make FinalBIG to make them stop spinning. I've been creating alot of small homevideos myself, and i would like to give a try to )

But otherwise i agree, for a Contra Video, you used way to much of vanilla ZH

this time i let youtube do the quality lowering:P

i deleted the current intro and outro and changed them, distorted the bass, added a second melody and put it on youtube.

i hope you enjoy

World Builder can be used to created cinematic-like map. It can be used to record ZH VDO as well. There are a lot of effect to be used for your home VDO (the effects you see in Generals + ZH campaign).

WB is good for creating some videos, but for special scenes i use 3dsmax. You can make any animation you wanna which is not included in game and make movie better.
