I played the mod and i loved it but the problem i have with it is the waiting for the troops to come because i admit i get pretty impatient. Would it be a bit quicker in the next version?

I believe that they made plans to decrease unit build time and increase structure build times. ;)

So you wont have to wait so long for your troops, but building will take longer.

maybe it should be good to remove squad sistem and make each soldier a certain unit .what do you think about it?

I certainly agree with the longer structure times and shorter unit time. This will definitely mean a higher skill cap on the game, which means more fun.

Don't make the units get built separately, though, that's the whole basis of my mod. :p Still, if you divide the cost and time by number per horde and then make the units come out on their own, the game would require a lot of skill and multitasking while having the same time for the same number of units total. If you get my meaning.

But, that's what my mod is for, and it presents a lot of new issues with pathing which even I may not be able to fix well enough, and I may scrap the concept and just go with BFME1-sized hordes.
Greetings, community.

Single units would ruin BFME's gameplay. BFME gets its giant armies from those battalion things.

I am happy with all these new things, doesn't bother me at all :p.

Not if you have the ability to get the same massive armies with separate units. You'd need much cheaper units/higher income and much lower build times of course. If it was only 15-30 seconds to build a unit it wouldn't be so bad.

Yeah, it brings a lot of pathing issues besides the general gameplay issues. There's not a lot gained from it, the pathing is so poor when you have so many single units, it's not really more micro-intensive or in any way better, as far as I can see. I've been experimenting with it and it isn't pretty.

Oh, I just double click.

Doesn't work for selecting all gondor fighter horde on the map (unless they're all on-screen :p)
I usually work with Q though..

1. Q
2. A
3. Right-Click on enemy's base
4. ????
5. Profit
