I get message to insert CD (probably for game outtro) with options: Retry or Cancel.

I have CD inserted and Retry is not working :(

Great three missions so far and I want some more!

And how do the missions stats look like?

OK, I think I know what the problem is: the file MISIONES.DAT hasn't been updated.

Make sure that you replace the current Commandos...\DATOS\MISIONES\MISIONES.DAT with the one from the SINP_MIS_04.rar archive.

Strange thing

Don't know how this could happen...

Ok. But I unpacked both files with mission 4 and 5 and there is no such file like Misiones.dat . Does it update it while extracting ? in neither of these files I have file misiones.dat . Can you send me on my email fistachpl(at)gmail.com the latest version of thsi file?

Glad to hear that it works now!

I'll forward your thanks to coralsundy and 555, they actually made all the missions

I just support them with some modding knowledge.

In case anyone else faces the same problem (can't access mission 4), here's the file MISIONES.DAT.

What registry entries does sinp 2.3 add? can it be installed next to a normal (sofware\pyro\etc..) install?

SINP2.3 adds these registry entries:

Yes, it definitely can be installed next to BEL (or BCD), it doesn't affect the original games by Pyro Studios.

Hi and congratulations for this game, "Strike in Narrow". I have only could complete the two first missions. The missions 3, 4, 5 and 6 are ver,very difficult . Tow much ennemies in the maps. The graphics and the desing are wonderful, but de difficult is very high.

Does anyone have a walkthrough for mission 6(Panzer General)?
I've already visited the chinese forum and translated it ,but the result is whole nonsense:

I can't get ridden of these three bastards circled in the picture:

The guy on the right simply doesn't get lured by the decoy, he just stands near, but not far enough to not be seen by other guards.
It's almost impossible not use cheats at least a single time,too many guards!

WOW good old BEL revisited! :thumbsupsmiley:

I'm familiar with the BEL missions. Back then I was able to do all missions with max stars.
However, the small and overcrowded SINP maps makes it very difficult and time consuming to advance.
Its a tedious puzzle of lines of sight to find openings.
Still I managed to finish missions 1, 4 and 5.
I finished mission 2 as well, but the mine sweeper won't let me escape.
One thing I don't like at all are those sneaky and treacherous workers, that cause silent alarms.
Two-third into mission 3 I suddenly noticed a patrol from the garrison. I'd made a quick save thinking everything was fine to find out a while later it wasn't fine at all. Getting past the garrison that has 5 soldiers on the roof is now virtually impossible.
As to mission 6 getting inside the camp is a pain. Haven't found a way in yet.
All in all SINP looks very promising and all the hard work is very much appreciated.
I found a Chinese walkthrough with some pictures. English text would be helpful though.
Any useful tips with missions 3 and 6 would be great!! Thanks in advance. :wink_new:

As to mission 3 luckily I'd made a normal save, after getting the spy uniform. So I went back from there and paying close attention to silent alarms I managed to finish the mission.
Now there's only the last mission, Panzer General, left to solve. If only I could find a way into the camp. :rolleyes:

I'm using SINP 2.3 stand-alone.
On winXP with DualCore AMD Athlon 64 X2, 3000 MHz.
No speed problem (normal speed).

You can download a speed fix here: Ultimate Fix (for SINP).

It's actually a modified version of Doc. Garga's Ultimate Fix.

I realized that the briefings are much slower now, better use the original SINP .exe to watch the briefings and use the Ultimate Fix to play the missions.
