I just wanted you to know that Coralsundy finished the 7th mission of SINP! You can download it here.



I hope you enjoy playing this mission and I wish you all a Happy New Year 2012!

I have finished it in about 1 hour, it was very easy mission, like mission 1 from sinp, traps in pyramids were useless(didnt use them), , many guards on south-east also useless.
Overall map is dark, visions of most soldiers are bad(too short), so it makes easy to pass this mission. In my opinion difficulty of mission 3 and 6 is the way this mod should go.

I finished this mission too. I agree, the mission was easy, and very nice. I used the traps of the pyramid ( and I died in another traps ) Great goob c5studios.

I cant play it , because i meet this error

I have finished 6 missons before , then i deleted all . And now i redownload source and install , however it does not work . Help me please

I would suggest uninstalling SINP again, removing the SINP folder (usually C:\Program Files\Strike In Narrow Path 2.3) and executing the attached *.reg file.
Then please reinstall SINP (only sinp2.3.exe). There's no need to install the missions at this point, just try to run the Comandos.exe.
If the game starts, you can install the missions.

First try to run the game in compatibilty mode (Win95 or Win98).

If it still doesn't start, try this:

It's actually a modified version of Doc. Garga's Ultimate Fix.

I realized that the briefings are much slower now, better use the original SINP .exe to watch the briefings and use the Ultimate Fix to play the missions.

I am using original SinP 2.3 and the intro screens have always been >very< slow. I can hear the intro loop several times before all bitmaps (BR*) have cycled through. I can Esc of course but is that what it should do?

A suggestion: can the passwords be made available in-game? Like under the "Special Thanks" dog tag there are peoples names you could use the Confidential card as hot spot for showing passwords. Or maybe the unused menu item under the Start S.I.N.P. submenu. Which BTW can stil be selected and you get a transparent screen. You can put PWs there!

I agree with ArsNova. I´m only on the first mission but some 25 soldiers and one tank on such a small map makes it less fun. Still, nice to find a fan-made expansion for this game. By the way, why are the text in the briefing in chinese/japanese?

I would rather consider it as a compromise. All people who know Chinese get informed about the mission objectives by reading the briefings and everyone else can listen to the spoken briefings. I also need to mention that SINP is still in beta stadium, so maybe in the final version the texts will be translated into English. (not sure about that)
