Yes, of course. Carlson is just the name of the idea. Real unit name must be something in arabic style. Maybe Simorgh?

First let me start off by saying that i find Contra to be the best Zero hour mod out there, by far. Well done!

Now, whatever you choose to call it, just know that Simorgh comes from Persian and Iranian culture, not Arabic. It would be like referring to a Frenchman as German or a Swede as Norwegian. It might not sound like a big difference for people not living in those regions but to the people of that region there is a difference :p

thanks for making the mod perfect as it is right now
i was checking and saw you guys are looking for superweapon for Airforce GE
its an idea some may like it :
u can use a (high altitude) Or (supersonic) bombing center like a special air field,
and as a model for launch u can use the idea from C&C 3 the bomber in GDI who jumps to air and lunch bomb anywhere ,
as model of bomber cause u want to work unique and real u can work on black bird jumping to Air then launch something like MOB
or cluster , or just a *small bomb with massive damage but very limited area of damage just enough to destroy any building!
*as i understood the air force has enough bombing for its stars as general , so this should even out for the power that can not be intercepted
and its related to air force and its fun to see black bird in the game!

This is a ridiculous idea. However. I have an idea that is related to this. How about editting strategic uplink to this. Like its an airfield (so that isnt as small as now), with planes that take off when you activate the power.

I would like to join "CONTRA TEAM". What i offer is map editing and simple codding

We need script writers. We have enough people who can create landscapes, but few of them can create good and complex scripts for missions.

Yet another man we need is a 2D artist for drawing textures. Currently, there are 2 men who do it: me and Dcesarec, but many models need to be skinned. Any help would be useful.

We also need a web master. JohnContra started to make new web site, but disappeared and left it in about 90% completion state. Entire web site works, but we need to apply another layout and make some small adjustments. New layout was designed and saved in Photoshop format. So, it is needed to cut it into elements and insert them into the side code.

And at last, we need to finish GLA replics. GLA soldiers need to speak their native languages: Arabic, Persian or another middle east language.

Other kind of help is not needed now.

Well I have done coddings that noone ever discovered as far as i know. I increased the ammount of money the workers give so instead of 75$ they now give me 1000$ (It works in campaign and challange.). The other thing I tried is editing the damage the soldiers do yet it didn't work but im still working on camera mod for Generals I have everything done no more black stuff and water, I just need one thing. Make the camera routable during game. As you mentioned I could try doing skins for units. Im not sure about 2D texturing but I would just need to see and get simple explanation about it.

If you let me I can give it a try.

Your coding seems very basic, i can also easily increase damage and money. But, this camera mod sounds interesting. What have you gotten done with the camera mod?

I agree with creator,any help with textures would be good.And i suggest you to learn that.Because work is guaranteed,there are always new models to skin,and you can always edit and improve old or vanilla skins.This is for all people interested on get to project team,aim for textures...

Those coding stuffs are extremely basic. I recommend you aim for making texture for units. It involves unwrapping 3D models and creating a fitting texture on that unwrapped models.
