I tried all brand new strategy games and last ones only disappoint me, many Zero Hour (best game idea ever but lazy EA dont developed it) mods some of them really good stuff but none group up what i really want of a RTS.

Well Contra have all that i want and more.

 

Im from Uruguay South America and u can bet that Contra mod is famous around the world between RTS lovers

There is a progress, however we can't see it. Creator will release it when it is enough good (bugless, balanced, all models are working properly, etc.). If 008 is ready, it will be more awesome than we expect. Contra has a large fan base already, everybody is waiting for the next evolution of Contra...

Creator (the mod leader) announced that it is very likely he'll finish the new version by the end of March. He said that there is not much left to be done.

Just lies, I see these announcements going back forever, they never stopped postponing. They are liars.

They said in the main-topic, that we can estimate the release of the mod with the data he provided.

 

Considering there is 6% to be left.

It would be safe to assume the mod gets released in june.

 

Why June you might ask?

 

Considering 6% this is a pretty big mod, 6% is still quite a lot of work.

 

In terms of perfect balancing, it might be safe to assume another 2-3 more years.

The author of this topic is no longer active. And we cant make such threads again, because new tasks appear every little. We did not had in plan to change so many things, but we did. We changed ALL infantry. And most all vanilla models.We made new menu interface recently too, all of that was not in plan. This 6% then was considering few models, but instead of few models, we made dozens, menu etc...so this 6% was better as 46%. But now, its almost ready. We cant say that we dont understand when people are angry because of many postponing...
