Sorry, but I've seen people doning far more complex mods in shorter time than this.
Good mods take time and effort. Many good mods out there developed with
FULL TEAM for 5-7 years.
Contra has
ONLY ONE permanent developer - Creator - until after Contra 007.
Either way it's disrespectful not to inform on approx time of release of this mod for those who patiently wait.
If you said something like this on other mod forums, your post would be locked and you will surely receive a warning.
As Apoc said, we're working on this for
free with our time. If you're unsatisfied, go play something else.
And those who patiently wait wouldn't say something like you did.
Think about it practically, the longer people wait for this mod, the least there will be to play it eventually and your work will be wasted. I myself barely remebered there was some nice CnC mode named contra.
I guess it's up to you to decide wheather you should pull your shit together and finish the mod soon or stop working on it at all. If you will release it in second half of 2012, very little people will paly it. This dgme gets older and EA is already working on another CnC Generals. Rethink your idea.
There are a lot of activities behind the scene, but you simply don't realize it. Blind yourself with impatience if you want.
It's fine if EA released a new C&C, which probably has no mod support (considering Frostbite Engine and DLC announcement).
Mod has kept C&C alive for years afterward. Cutting that off wouldn't make a new game a better one.
