Small video update today. As you may or may not know, recent beta builds of Ares DLL enabled customization of the Prism Forwarding logic. For starters, you will be able to recreate the pre-release way the towers supported each other.

But that's not everything the updated Prism Forwarding logic allows you to do. Now, the beam may for example travel through several towers, you may link towers belonging to allied houses, add new buildings which work with this logic, you can even combine Tesla Coil's overcharge with the Prism Forwarding. This and many more features - currently available only in testing builds of Ares - will one day appear in the official public release of the DLL.

This short video will show you the power of rainbows several enhancements to the Prism Forwarding. NOTE - It was made for demonstration purposes only and it does not show how it was used in the upcoming version 3.0 of Mental Omega.

Correct, WeirdGuy. More Towers can join up, in different styles. The good thing is Marshall coded this flexible.

Personally, I think the beam should've been a temporal beam at beam-forwarding to make it visible easier, but overall it's a great video. Amazing.

As cool as this is, doesn't it make things more impractical if all the towers link up? Or can you manually dictate which towers link up to which?

Well, you can dictate the amount of chains, how many towers can support a single one directly and the overall maximum. Also you can set up that the towers can break the support to attack a target instead.

No, it means towers can support the primary tower through another support tower.

In RA2/YR towers can only support an adjacent tower, whereas here they can all link through each other to support one firing tower.

As cool as this is, doesn't it make things more impractical if all the towers link up? Or can you manually dictate which towers link up to which?

They're still pretty smart. I mean if a tower can be the primary firing tower then it will be, they'll only support others if they'd otherwise be useless. From my experience at least.
