Anyone with their own propaganda poster would make a fine hero ^_^.

I was considering increasing cost/time on space colonies as a way of limiting stations.

It's interesting, I would suggest an asymmetrical curve for the construction time and an exponential line for the cost increase.

If it's hard then it's worth doing.

No, but you might be able to respawn them with LUA somehow.

could some special planets have a planet only effect of reducing shipyard station build times to instant and price to a few hundred credits to simulate just a bit of retraining/manning/retooling?

planets with known extensive shipyards, IE: Kuat, Corillia, Bilbringi, Mon Calamari, ect...

perhaps these planets could just have a special shipyard building like the stiener mod did long ago where say at corillia you have the option of building a CEC 1,2,3,4, or 5 yard with reduced cost and increased time but i can't be used for research or some such balance.
