Does Mental Omega or the NPSE work with Launch Base?

Mental Omega 2.0psi is not compatible with Launch Base.

Mental Omega 3.0 will not be compatible either, but will have its own installer.

Wait wait wait, why wont 3.0 be compat with Launchbase? I thought LB had integrated Syringe/ARES?

It does, but we chose not to use LB. Perhaps later on we'll make it compatible, but for now, an own installer is a certainty.

Mental Omega 3.0 is supposed to be released as a standalone. We're waiting for abandonware Red Alert 2 release.

Simply copy the game asset to the MO mix, and you have to create a MO map editor: Final MO. Also, we will make them cracked. :good:

According to the years, and that all previous CNC games have been released, RA2 cant be too far off...

Except C&C4 failed so they're probably not in the mood to release free stuff, not to mention RA2 is probably the most popular pre-EA C&C game. When the others were released they were all revved up for the grand finale. The games are also no longer downloadable from their website, instead they recommend you buy them as part of the TFD.

If I remember correctly, Tiberian Sun only came recently as freeware

That "recently" was around the release of Tib Twilight. That's close if not at least one year now.

Besides that, I agree with Bolt completely.

If RA2 isn't a freeware, release them as a installer with a Ares 0.2

Well releasing YR with MO would be illegal so no.

Anyhow, Launch Base does have support for Ares built in but it's a rather complicated program that I don't think anyone wants to mess with. Especially when developing the mod as Launch Base is terrible at.

Mind you, the program is a good idea, but I personally think its just to complicated to get to work properly.

LaunchBase complicated? Just as complicated as Ares itself. without reading the manual you can get easily messed up, but that's all. For me it took 1 hours to set it up and now I can't even think about not using it. Nowadays I even set the stuff up without messing with the GUI, but directly with the mod inis. :p

Mind you I know almost everything about LB.

Im trying to get Mental Omega 1.2 up as an experiment soon, but something hit me mentally

How do people publish the mod so that it can be seen in the update/check for mods screen?
