I've run the macro renamer twice now and both times it went through and made all the changes. But the file isn't being read by the -Mod method. Either the game doesn't read the changes (the first time), or it crashes on the load screen. Everything looks good otherwise (ie the M_ renamed correctly). I've tried this on an un-patched version of the game and a patched version, too. I've made extensive changes to the INI file, so copy/pasting into a preconverted INI would be a multi-week project.

do you have it like: -Mod or -mod because -mod is correct. Also it takes about a day for it to do so just let it run and after 24 hours try it.

It is set up correctly, I'm saying I use the -mod method. The Macro Renamer has already been fully run, twice now. I have a very fast hard drive so it took less than 3hrs. The problem is that changes in the new macro renamed file aren't read by the system. I have tried this on two versions of the game on two separate PCs. Both using my INI that I have already made my changes to. One PC has the patches installed. The other doesn't.

try a blank modding folder. that could help to see if its the new stuff you added that did it or the if it just doesn't work. and while its doing it start converting your mod files to the converted ini packages. to save some time...
