I like it all. Especially that sword. Anyways: You still have some credit because you are the one coding it in?

He doesn't have any credit on the work of those models at all.
When you see them in-game, then you can give him credit for getting them in-game. Before that, we should appretiate Matias' awesome work.

Because that's what it is. Awesome.

Thanks everyone. Right now they've got 12 different body textures, each with a HA variant. I reckon that'll be plenty, but I am also considering adding some pieces of armor or making a second, different body model. I'll see.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

I was waiting for such a response. :p

Oh and can we stop talking about who gets how many kudos and for what? It's rather pointless.

I agree... This place gathers many artists around one common interest and we all share the same assets in terms of official books, movies, games, drawings, art, etc. Similarities are bound to happen, just like my ancient skins for hobbits that was misstaken for Celeglin's counterparts. Most of us are not here to feed our egos, but to produce great work. Some code, some model, some animate, some skin and some do it all. Both Matias and Nertea are great modders and awesome at what they do. Skills are always impressive to watch indeed and praising is fun, but the primary task at hand is producing nice mods. For ourselves and for anyone who might like them =) I'm just glad that this this mod has gathered so much talent through the years and Matias additions are most welcome and highly needed for sure. But I'm sure he knows that ^_^

First of all I think most of the designs look amazing.

However, I just have one question are the more square, hexagonal, and octagonal type of shields found in TDH kind of "copyrighted" by TDH? I just feel that the Dwarves have a less organic design than most other cultures and they are somewhat stern and uncompromising kind of people. Thus, I feel the more straight edge shield designs found in TDH fit better than the round shields; though TDH has both I think SEE should only have one style round or straight edge. I know that you want to get away from the old designs but I think the vanilla's failure was the size and rectangular shape and the TDH straight edge shields get away from that without being round.

That's just my opinion and if it can't be done then fine, but I just think straight edges fit the Dwarfs better.

I have no intention of using Nertea's design, no.

Yeah, we'll stick to the GW concept to avoid any discussions about "copyright" and who had the first idea where and when. It might not be 100% lore accurate, but it's "good enough" (read cool) and it looks awesome indeed. I can't wait 'til we get to see swarms of these buff guys with all their random gear rushing towards the enemy. I might use the soon to be obsolete Guardian as a couple of slave units (bodyguards) for the highest ranking hero, but other than that (and the guard in the barracks) that warhammer-ish model will be gone

We'll need a Banner Carrier, Archers and perhaps even Phalanx in this same design. Depending on how far Matias goodwill will stretch :evgr:

The reason I'm sticking to the round shields is not because of "copyright" and debate, it's because I really like Nertea's designs and want them to be in TDH only.
