I have 2 Questions (Just out of Curiosity) Is Left a Heavy Armor and Right A Normal Armor Representation or just The Normal Armor ? And Will Hill Trolls Soon Receive Armor Upgrades Or Be Left Alone ?

Please, stop capitalizing everything. It makes my eyes bleed.

Yeah, left is heavy armor, right is regular. Hill Trolls won't receive any armor upgrades.

Hello , Mathijs , as well as your team members ,your mod looks great so far ! I really like the concept and the ideas you put in ! I hope we all see more of the faction and more stuff! :)

I have a suggestion : since you remade the Mountain orcs and gave them a fiercer look , why not calling them : " Mounatin orcs warbdand " and for your pikemen , change them into " Mountains orcs Impalers " ? I think it's an idea to give a preview of their crualty and even fit their description .

Some work in process I'd like to get some feedback on (before I start texturing). I have a crippling tendency to redo everything when I get new ideas, so I thought perhaps you guys could get the ideas before I finish these models so I could perhaps incorporate them.

Looks really nice :)
Except I think everyone was very happy with the rock look to all the structures :p
The barracks is fine but I would say make the citadel more rocky :p

The old models were far too simplistic. The citadel was a big tall rock. The cave was a bunch of rocks stacked against one another. I might add a few rocks at the base of the citadel but I don't see why; just because I added rocks to the old models doesn't mean the new models need to be rocky. I don't think Tolkien ever said that the Gundabad Orcs incorporate rocks into all of their buildings :p

I love the Barracks, as for the Citadel, I'm unsure as of yet. From an untextured point of view, it reminds me of a Haradrim tent'ish or Rhunic building. Yes, I'm pretty sure that you'll prove me otherwise with the texture, but just sayin'. I kinda liked the rocks aswell :p

It is pretty tent-ish, with some troll-ribs sticking out at points, so I can see where you're coming from.

Agree with Lauri, the ribs look like Mumakil tusks atm, but this mayvchange when I see it textured.

They will probably continue to look like tusks, even when textured. The idea is that the orcs, living in a pretty barren environment, used everything they could scrape together to build their structures, including troll-hide, bones, and natural formations of rock.

Yeah but orcs of the misty mountains are more likely to find trees and use them for their structures than mumak tusks. Personally the citadel looks rhunish to me. I think it'd look better with straight logs crudely cut at the ends rather than the curved ones. Looks too artistic.

Mumak tusks? Have you all forgotten the size of a mumakil? The real size, or specificly length, of those tusks would probably be 2\3rds of the citadel itself.

I think that Mathijs actually said that they were troll ribs or something...

Artistic? I was aiming for saggy and crude. They just used sticks without bothering to shape them. By the way, the shapes on the lower tent cloth (the roof, I guess, before the structure juts out) and the upper roof are supposed to be underneath the cloth, with sharpened sticks or troll-bone sticking out from under the cloth to give off an impression of cruelty. They aren't Mumak tusks.

Anyway, you'll see what I mean once I texture it.

Why do I feel the need to defend my comments......

Agree with Lauri, the ribs look like Mumakil tusks atm, but this mayvchange when I see it textured.

Mumak tusks mentioned.

They will probably continue to look like tusks, even when textured. The idea is that the orcs, living in a pretty barren environment, used everything they could scrape together to build their structures, including troll-hide, bones, and natural formations of rock.

Acknowledgement that they look like tusks and even textured will still probably look like it.

My point is at the first glance the citadel looks too pretty, but if as you say the textures will make it look shitty - the I'll shut up. My immediate reaction when I saw the citadel was rhun. Sorry :thumbsupxd: Just my opinion, I just think that if the architecture could pass for another faction depending on "Paint or textures" then it needs to be worked on.
