They look pretty good.
Go with that theme make the faction more distinct.
I didn't like the rock theme.

Thanks. I textured it:

There are still some details I'd like to work in, maybe a hanging skeleton or some torches.

Nice Work looks better with the texture i think hanging skeletons would fit in nicely in this structure, are u thinking of a little orc banner at the side ?

Not sure about the things that look like paving slabs on the sides, but otherwise great!

Thanks, I changed the stone texture to look more like rock cobbled together to form a wall. This does look a little like pavement.

Looks pretty cool, agreed on the pavement'ish'ness.
It does look rather fragile though, but hey; goblins!

Yeah, goblins aren't exactly master architects. Looks good though, textures made a big difference.

Really nice, but I was under the impression that the tower would be of wood aswell. Is it hollow or is there a ladder up to it?

It is mostly wooden, save for the roof which is leather. It is hollow, yeah, and there's a rope ladder hanging from the entrance on the side you can't see.

It's a rank 3 upgrade by the way, and it will fire at the enemy. The chain fence is rank 2.

Very awesome. I really like the hide for the roof in particular. Looks like Troll Skin.

Looks good.

Here's an idea: start it out at rank 1 with just a few rocks, and give more rocks for each rank. Would help give it more of a sense of growth. Just a thought. :p

Rocks grow? :p

Nah, I like the current plan. The rock formation is always there, and it's (goblin) ideal position they decide to build around it. Then they need to protect it against their enemies (eh.. the fence). Then they need more protection, and just aswell they build a small tower upon the high rock. They can't do anything with the rocks.

Yeah I don't think the increase of rocks fits within the BFME concept of building ranks (to which I attempt to adhere). The orcs aren't going to tow additional rocks into the mountains.

At the top of the tower, columns on both structures is that just a roof?
Perhaps putting a fire lamp at the top.
Adds a bit of life to the building.

I was planning to have a glow coming from both the open roofs eventually.
