This sounds like it will be a good mod. I would Really like to know what Fingolfin will look like. Also will Morgoth or any of the Valar be playable, like Sauron or Galadriel?

I'm pretty sure were taking out the ring hero system since its pretty unbalanced, Morgoth and Sauron will be in Angband, but I don't think were putting Galadriel in.

I didn't think galadriel would be playable I just wondered how you would/could use morgoth since he should be ridculously powerful. Also are all the sons of Feanor playable because I think it would be slightly inbalanced amount of heroes for the Nolder.

No, the sons of feanor arent all in the mod, only maedhros is in it; and morgoth wont be insanely overpowered: he will be killable and funtion as a regular hero- just angband's final hero though.

I have two more questions i don't know how far along this is though.
1. Will cah be removed or revamped or left the same?
2. Will there be a world builder version of the mod with all the new units and buildings?

.. galadriel and sauron are not valar.
galadriel is an elf, sauron is a maia. morgoth is the one vala we are putting in

the sons of feanor are not playable. only in campaigns. they are not for skirmish. they are just there in the kinslayings and battles, in CAMPAIGNS. not in skirmish.
the full list of noldor in the campaign is

finwe finarfin fingolfin feanor+sons turgon+lords fingon finrod orodreth angrod aegnor( thingol, beleg, mablung too.but they are sindar)

out of those, only 8 are actually playable in game(skirmish).

finwe, feanor, fingolfin, finarfin, fingon, maedhros, turgon+lords as summons, finrod.

skirmish is far to easy if played with all the noldor heroes. hence, only the inis of the others are there, so they can be put into campaign levels

So you guys are gonna make about 16 maps and script them all to be a campaign? Won't that be quite a bit?
Personally, I would just stick to skirmish as that's what people usually enjoy ;)

Campaign can be fun too, but it's ALOT of work to make a new one. I personally think this mod should first make all maps, and after that you should script them.

I kinda have to agree with them reallyfat, making the maps already takes a bit of time and I'm honestly not that good at scripting yet.:ermm:

The only mod I can think of with its own campaign is RJ's and that's not even finished and they spent ages just making those first few maps ;)

@ future, its ok. ever heard of the COPY/PASTE function? lol :p :p :p :p
copy 1-map
copy 2-scripted map
:p lol!. its ok. i am not a mapper. but i will try scripting too. and any way, who said the campaign would be in the first beta?. we just include the maps. then we add scripts and stuff to the copies, include them in he next beta

@dragon rider
we had some nice behaviour from you. 'ok, you guys doing nothing, im doing nothing.'
honestly have you seen how much maps future and past made? YOU were the only one doing nothing. did you see the new living world map from fellbeast? i honestly want to know why you thought nothing was being done, when everyone apart from yourself was doing work
