Hi miss me and our(me and ShadowE's) concepts? :D

Quiet commander, the hounds are sleeping as we speak.

DID SOMEBODY SAY DERP?

Libra: The Floor is Ice!
Malver: Under the guidance of Lord Yuri.
Rahn: What are we waiting for?

...

Lord Yuri: I have taught you all well, be of one mind, one vision, proselytes!

Turtles be like: "Need more defenses...."

-pic-

And this, ladies and gentlemen, might be the reason, why City fights back is being removed from BR2.

Not really. I think it's due to lag. That map often slow down the game for random reasons.

Tried many times. Was a good map, but need more changes.

The original City Fights Back (2-4) had numerous triggers, that -as the name suggest- made the civilians fight you, even use superweapons! Perhaps some parts of these triggers and scripts remained in the MO version, and even tough they lost their functionality, they still hog resources? Strangely, I never had lag on that map, or at least in skirmish.

The civilians did WHAT? And when you mention original, you meant, that this map was in vanilla RA2/YR? It is true, that I mainly played Bay of Pigs and Tanya's training Ground, but I don't even remember a map with such civilians and BLOODY 5 bunkers at your spawn.

This is what I see when anyone misspell Fury Drone as Furry Drone

I can play 4vs4 all Mental on other maps and still OK. It's just on this map that things slow down after a while. And it's all in Skirmish.

It's possibly that the triggers are what causing it. If only we have the MO version available we could test it out with FA2.

The Moscow 8p skirmish map also have this kind of problem, and it even made the game freeze after a while, and the reason was the old triggers that are not compatible with MO 3.0.

No, it was a fan made map.

http://ra2maps.zzatt...ity Fights Back

Also, here is the list of the original civie surprises:

-> Stormtrooper Paradrop: A Navy SEAL leads a veteran infantry rush made up of a group of Telsa Troopers and an Engineer.
-> Amphibious Assault #1: A pair of elite Rhino tanks come knocking.
-> Amphibious Assault #2: A trio of veteran Tesla Tanks provide an electrifying performance.
-> Terrorist Surprise: A loaded Flak Track chronoshifts past defenses and serves up 5 hot papayas.
-> Nuke Strike: When you hear the siren, duck and cover.
-> Weather Storm Strike: 'Nuff said.
-> Demo Drop: 3 Demolition Trucks are dropped by cargo plane right where you least want them to be. Blowing them up while in midair is no defense. Muahahaha!

Yep. It was quite brutal.

Or maybe that map's a turtle's best dream and people got tired of having to break through that fortress of a base. Also, another pic:

Confederation and mind controlled Euro forces defend the psychic beacon in Madrid. Not much tactical value. Built mostly as a F U to the Confederation's former colonial masters.

Likely. I don't think that it should be removed for that tho: if you don't like it, then don't play it. Some players however, like it very much (like me!). The first thing I will do when BR2 comes out will be downloading the map, "mental omega-fy" it, then re-upload it.

What could it be if not from ACT II? Some kind of mission for sure, and I bet SUnlight was a lost cause since they're in London. XD

Also, are those the new civ concrete walls that were mentioned?

GREAT! Finally we will get our hands on sniper(s) in allied mission! I hope they are not scripted to die, just like our old hero from Soviet Russia.

If being inspired by Trick or Treaty YR06 mission, bear in mind, that it will appear later in the campaign, when Yuri is no longer on a roll of success (and soviets join  allies to fight bigger evil).

This is what I see when anyone misspell Fury Drone as Furry Drone

I made a youtube playlist of songs that may have inspired mission names (at least 50% is correct and seen by Speeder himself)

Who said that was an allied mission? Considering the shroud in the corners, probably not. Hinted to be an Epsilon mission.

You might be right. With the switching sides patterns we see in some missions, it won't be that surprising.

Sizyfos31, you're a funny guy.

What makes you think that in Mental Omega's missions you start with a full base and force shields?

Come on, you know us better than that :p

In MO3 the commander isn't that rich to afford such features. :( The enemy is always a billionaire.
