heh, confession, I don't know how to use IRC, i mean i've always tried to use it, but it always seems way to much trouble to join and to do the basics, so why bother with IRC?
there are plenty of Chat programs out there where it can be done, and personally i'd rather just use Skype as the group function is great, and people can use mic if need be and everything is on record, plus it has file sharing etc
Edit: or better yet, TeamSpeak? i actually had a friend from a group mention setting one up
i can look into that and see whats what

IRC is easy, but yeah. Skype could also do.

I have Pass, but I don't have you.

We have an official Skype Group up

here is the URL too join the Skype group

skype:?chat&blob=V1ZAqP8ld4K2u2JBHb1M1GlTQmughMMxZnmt6ZtR-dLslCJdpgqkTmZ-7QUW

Your browser will search for Skype, follow the process for your PC, if you cant figure it out ask for help
at the top, I recommend saving it as Revora Team so its permanently in your contacts

A note that people may appear offline that are not on your friends list for their own privacy

-Thank you

ps, might add this to the first post as sticky note

a much better car physics system, try it out online
http://unitypackages...oomla/index.php

the interesting thing is it apparently has an arcade style too, not sure what that means
anyway, i messed around with it and despite 'realism' as its goal its not very realistic
they may of used real numbers and math but the physics isn't realistic when it comes to turning and driving vs friction, particularly on grass
its easier to say its hyper realistic that it over exaggerates what is real vs arcade

a clear example of this would be to snake, as in swerve left then right, left, right, left as racing cars to to warm their tires, even in arcade mode, it still messes up, and in fact locks up so I'm not sure what makes it 'arcade'

Yeah, that felt very sluggish, I'm more for something unrealistic that feels nice than something realistic that feels terrible.

Anyway, Meeting in a few moments, a quick summary of relevant topics:

  • Shared dropbox folder for files
  • Discussion of graphic design style and concept art direction
  • Shortlist of things that have high-priority:
  1. Basic test track(skyboxes are being done, needs basic track and terrain mesh)
  2. Basic kart model
  3. Basic Kart physics scripting + camera.
  • Job distribution

Where's the meeting's protocol?

I probably have not arrived home at around that time, I am probably around in about 14-15 hours, but not for extremely long. Also where is my protocol?

Well, do you want me to set a place where we discuss objectives and future plans?  The term 'protocol' is sort of vague to use in this instance.

For future reference:

Don't suggest a meeting if you yourself do not show up to it.  Duke and I were around on time, but since you're the one who wanted the meeting... it would make more sense if you would have shown up.

Lawyerd. :p

Jokes aside, Pas, the protocol is more like a resume, a record of what was said in the meeting. What was decided. Just for archive purposes and in case someone misses the meeting he could pick up ;)

Well I would hate to make this project section more confusing, but I may want to do a 'progress' topic for that then.  Might as well do that now.

That sounds like a plan.

Duke should also create a RR- Task forum with the current tasks to each team member, so we can all keep track of what we need to do.
Also, when we start working, instead of posting on these topics (3d design/2d art/ect) we should aim to create a thread for the collection of our work I mean: RR - GK; RR - Pas; ect. So we can all dump stuff there. Or they could be lost in the sea of spamming and crossed convos.

kudos to Pasidon for this awesome avvy and siggy!

each forum is dedicated to those roles with some discussion on the development, but majority of it can be done here, in the organizing thread, no point in having more forums when we arent some huge dynamic team
