[Rider of Rohan]

Well Guys It's not exactly LOTR but It's my first real attempt at something but, it's for a side project I hope to do later with BFME :

But atm I could use some Criticism on it

Not totally done with Texture also XD

2 Variations ( 1 Lancer model and 2 Swordsman Model ) I'll put the Lancer model up soon.

And I realize now that i need to work on dat UV  ._. But the Lancer looks better .

I sense a Cronicles of Narnia mod comming soon

Anyways, really nice modelling, it's low poly, but I guess you're going to use it in BFME so it's okay.

The textures could use more work, but there's a problem with the mEsh itself. You see, in the reference that pointy part that stands out only starts in the top of the helmet - that's quite ovalish - In your model it looks like it's starting from the visor. (It's happening on both models)
Unless you're trying to mimic that pointy crease that the helmet has in the front. If it was so, you got it quite exagerated.

But yeah, with a good texture it can look nice

Thanks, and at some point I hope to , but I need to finish at least 1 version of Horse Lords for the Public . I'll definitely take those points into consideration as I mentioned it's my real first attempt at something with no help and the texture(s) still need some work on as well. Also I did try to exaggerate the Crest a bit Wanted to try something out lol. I think that Aslan Piece on the helm would prove a bit challenging but hey not impossible. But Thanks Again for the Advice.

Thanks guys, I'll probably be putting up the Centaur Model Sometime this week. A Skyrim Mod for LOTR or Narnia would be awesome . Too bad Warner Bros wanted to shut it down. Also I talked with the leader for the Battle for Narnia Mod And he said we can work together to finish the project ! So It won't be too long now.

It's a start , I think the model has mapping issues .

 

Those were made to start a mod . I abandoned the project for the lack of will and other people's interest in it .

BTW, I think that's not a centaur, it's a faun. - Mr. Tumnos if I recall correctly.
I must model those helmets just to put on my Skyrim character. Peharps that shield too. It looks so amazing!

Lol I meant the quality of my centaur is nothing to his models XD. Yea atm it has some UV issues I've sorted it out I'll update it later though. Are the Fauns binded to Theoden's skl ?

Actually it looks rather good. There's some clipping here and there, but overall it look okay.
Is it rigged?

The fauns should be with the tom bombadil skl or however you spell his name. fauns like music and dancing and tom b. matches perfectly. now as for an attack faun theoden or someone like his would do great! maybe faramirs sword skl would be good. i totally would love to help with a narnian website or something if you need it. but first i should finish up the horse lords one which reminds me i will talk to you rider on facebook later today about it. sorry about the delay was focused on school.

Oh, that's very shiny, except for the clipping, as Gen.Kenobi already said, which is most prominent at the rear of the torso. Oh, and Gen.Kenobi, what can I shorten your name to for faster typing?

Lol this is taking longer than I thought XD, Thanks Fell I fixed some of the Clipping issues but not the torso as yet. I'm currently looking at Nertea's tutorials to try and get a grip on some things before i do more editing on the model.
