I don't think it sounds bad to try out.

Would be in line with the lore, so give it a go.

Feels incomplete, no pun intended.

Yes, look at some bridges that have been destroyed (water damage or explosively destroyed) and think about what you would find downstream. I wish I could find a photo of a river I had to ford while I was out hiking, the concrete bridge was down and had been mostly washed away - you could see little bits sticking up out of nowhere downstream.

Also the main bridge was destroyed when Boromir and Faramir retreated over the river (just before Boromir rode off to find Rivendell). It was rebuilt by the orcs (in the movie at least) when they attacked the western side of Osgiliath for the last time. Between that time nobody, it seems, crossed the river at Osgiliath.

It won't be easy for njm to make a high-quality broken bridge with natural debris when there are no good assets of it in the game.

Lauri is correct. There is a lack of assets with which to do this. Could be Im not into mapping at the moment, but Im a little stumped on making the ends of the bridge look more jagged. I will spread some more ruins along the river.

Oh, I should have said that I love it already. ;p

Maybe some pieces could stick out the the bridge where it is broken? But not overdone. ;p

Or you might use the Amon Hen buildings to cover the ends:

This is why this community is the best. Great idea Irene, I would never thought to use the amon hen structures. I like the look of them. Will tinker later today.

Nice! Any chance of there being the exit to the old sewers in the woods?

The sewers exit would be interesting. I have no references to design it though. Im lacking in imagination to create my own idea..
