Greetings everyone!

It has been a while, but I have returned to the community. With this small message I would like you all to inform I have started a new project called C&C Amnesia. C&C Amnesia will be Yuri's Revenge mod featuring the ARES DLL expansion.

If you find any irregularities on the website, please let me know by leaving a forum PM or a message in this topic.

Soon i'll post more information about the concept of the mod. For now, enjoy the website and stay tuned for some more C&C Amnesia mod progress.

To be honest, I never bothered to play that game. I've been using the name for stuff before that game was even released. So no, don't worry,.It's just the name, nothing else.

The name Amnesia is a reference to a 'Nightclub' on Ibiza, and the reference to that nightclub itself comes from an old cheesy, cheap movie about two guys that try to get laid there. It's a comedy movie and pretty fun if you are interested in that kind of humor. For me, the most value of the movie was the music. The music was played in this Disco/nightclub 'Amnesia' 

 

For the mod, I tried to wrap a story around the real meaning of amnesia. I'll post the Allied introduction story later today.

Though I have to admit it is my first try on story writing, so don't go too hard on me please

That is a super bizarre reference for a C&C mod...  The name does have potential, but I have always said the name of a product should reflect the story, not the other way around. But I can see some interesting concepts coming from this, if executed right.  I suppose you can say that for just about anything, but at least you have a direction.  

 

I'm a big fan of story boarding ideas, so give me a PM if you would like some extra eyes on your plot, dialogue and ideas.
