Both liking both is a simplistic way of putting it. Essentially pansexual is the midpoint between demisexual and bisexual.
Now you're just making words up.

Nah, really, demisexual's a word. Bit crap, as etymology goes, but still a used word.

Well the term appears on pseudo wiki pages and Urban Dictionary, so in conclusion, not a real term for people outside of the fad of mutant sexuality.
"Demisexuals are characterized by a lack of sexual attraction toward any person unless they become deeply emotionally or romantically connected with a specific person or persons."
Uhh... ok.
"Demi- is a prefix meaning half."
No... it's a prefix meaning 1/3rd. This is why we don't allow hooligans to make new words.

What am I looking at there? The AVEN Triangle? That is quite a triangle.

Demi means half http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demi .
So it seems sexuality has become one of those over-defined things like music and coffee.

Demi from a French translation means half or a fraction of a whole piece, but as a measurement means 1/3rd. That's why the spell 'demi' in Final Fantasy games take away 1/3rd of your health. Buh.
It's being over defined because psychology and anatomy don't care to define it half the time. If you go to a modern psychologist today, they would say anything but the ordinary is a disorder. I recall my anthropology class talking about male monkeys doing inappropriate'ness to other male monkeys, and we define that as sexual confusion. That's a trait mutated from being attracted to sexual dimorphism, which is a big fancy way of saying 'disorder'. Problem with that is the people with the disorder have feelings, unfortunately, and it makes them sound handicapped. Well.... guhhh... sorry little Timothy, but Jesus / Darwin didn't intend for you to breed with Mr. Hopkins. Or want you to become Mrs. Sarah; an over-weight woman from Detroit.
Now because I have zero attractions (nopesexual is the term I coined. Thant you) does that mean I have a disorder? Uhh... no. I'm skeleton.

Demi can mean a few terms (this word i actually do know) - For those of us that are not french it means half and for people who are crazy and or french like Pas it means 1/3rd
Demigod - HALF human and HALF god NOT 1/3rd human and 1/3rd god cus then where the "F" does the other 3rd go? does it just not exist? is the person incomplete? debatable if you ask me. Anyways thats my 2 cents after going through and reading this whole topic.

Demi in Final Fantasy actually takes away a quarter of your health.

No, it means you're asexual.

We still talking about demi? We may need to rename this topic.
And no, sir... you misspelled 'awesome'.

Is there animalsexual and childsexual? Just asking.
Zoosexuality and pedophilia is what you're looking for. I don't intend to open any further discussion however. It would just be a slagfest against people who are ultimately different.

And not an entirely unjustified slagfest. Neither of those two (animals or children) have a choice in the matter. It could be argued forever whether some children could knowingly consent, I'm not gonna pretend they're idiots, but there are so many factors that can't be properly comprehended by the adult mind so let's just make it illegal and call it quits. If there are any non-offending paedophiles then they'll get help. Animals definitely can't consent so don't even go there, it's just cruel.

So it's rape even if the victim is too dumb to have a choice in the procreation? Hmm... actually a keen point there, Bolty.

I'd rather not get into it but you would be mostly wrong. Child sexuality is largely unexplored but I've seen enough research to indicate that children can actually enjoy the act. Now, don't get me wrong, I am not advocating this but it's an interesting topic to look deeper into. No pun intended. As for animals, they can actually consent but it won't be verbal. PROTIP: Animals have adulthood and a libido. They are not furry children and should not be treated as such. And yes, I do advocate for this one but not as a general rule since it takes some effort to build that kind of trust.
