Please report here all reconnection errors that you have encountered while playing the public beta of Mental Omega 3.0 that you believe were not related to the state of connection between players.
We will only be able to help if 'Enable debugging' option was ON when the desync happened.
1. When a Reconnection Error happens in Mental Omega 3.0, a dialog window will pop-up asking whether to create a set of debug files. Obviously, you have to click 'Yes'.
2. Make sure that each of players is using the same version of Ares Expansion DLL. To do that, each player has to open a 'SYNCX.txt' (X is a number) file which was created in Mental Omega 3.0 directory when the reconnection error happened. Check timestamp to make sure it's the correct one. Open it and compare Ares DLL versions which are listed at the very top.
3. If each of players was in fact using the same version of Ares DLL, all of you will have to provide us with a set of files.
Close the game. Go to "install path"/debug/snapshot-(date of RE)-(time of RE)/ and get following two files from the directory:
debug(date of RE-time of RE_here).txt
extcrashdump(date of RE-time of RE_here).dmp
Also prepare the SYNCX.txt file that was mentioned earlier.
The files that you'll send us must be related to your reconnection error. Check the timestamp again and make sure they're all the same for three files. All players involved in the Reconnection Error must send those files to us.
Describe the situation your game desynched as detailed as possible, which beta was it, state your factions, game mode, events etc.

I installed mental omega on the brother's laptop so we could lan in the 2 player campaign the game works fine on both our computers however on his if we enter the lan/vpn tab the game tries to enter but fails and returns to the main menu .I checked the settings under lan/vpn and it says theirs no port . We can lan in other games without any lag so thier are no connection issues , please help.

Desync Error when playing a Meteor Swarm with 2 other people vs 1 Mental AI, and 2 easy meteor AI's next to the Mental AI to keep him busy long enough.
Map was Aquatic Divide - 2-8
I was Pacific front, an American player(Person00 on revora) and a soviet player(called Exited or something?)

It was Wcvechten as Pacific Front, me as America. The third player was something like Exited, and he was probably Russia, if not then China.

Greetings
I'd like to report a crash case for Capturing buildings " Reconnection Error " . in my case; whenever an Engineer Capturing building (oil derraks, enemy building or any other building in the map" game crashes, and when i requested for help people showed me this forum.
Unfortunately, i can not provide the needed Items to solve this problem. (don't have "Debug" folder in the game install dir). therefore i would like to request an assistant in whether to do to fix this.
Thanks in advance for reading this and i hope that we can solve this issue soon.

Hi,
ThatOtherGuy (PF) and I (China) were playing a Crate War on Silver River with a Mental AI (HQ I think, was set to random). ToG was hosting on a Win7 machine, I used WinXP; we were connected via CnCNet from the same network (like, six feet away from each other). We each used a nuke crate on the AI, then I was emptying two borillos filled with Pyros in AI's base followed by a reconnection error.
For some reason the time-labelled debug file (i.e. "debug.20140601-212732.log") wasn't created for ThatOtherGuy, but it appears at least on my system that the "debug.log" file (which he did have) is identical to the latest time-labelled one so I included that.

The weird part is that I just went over to ToG's machine, which had been idling at the MO3 main menu for about an hour (and I'm pretty certain we already had to close the game and relaunch), and it had encountered a fatal error (the message about notifying the Ares developers also popped up). HI.
I(China) , : p (Russia) and >3(Russia) play the capture mode on toxicity with 1 mental AI and 4 normal AI.
We both used the win7 PC.We are lived in the same area in HK.
: p and I(host) can see others' start and team.
>3 also can see our start but can't see :p's team.
The one can't see our team,saw one of our start was at start 6,but we had chosen the start at 1,2 and 3 respectively.
When we were in the game,it was fine.But after about 5-10 second,the reconnection error occur at all of us.
The pop out asked us whether to save the crash report,we had chosen 'Yes'.
Then another pop out appeared and said there is a fatal error.
When we didn't choose team,the reconnection error didn't occur.
We faced the same serial# problem before but we solved it.
The reconnection error only occur when we all in the same game.
I don't know whether the way we used to solve the problem of same serial# has it affect the game.

Hello, so my friend and I wanted to play a game against 2 bots and it said Reconnection error 10 seconds in to the game, we checked or SYNC files and everything was the same. But when I wanted to send the files, my friend told me and showed me that he doesn't even have them in his folder ( he has debugging enabled ). Thing is we both have fresh downloads of Mental Omega and Red Alert 2. Any suggestions?
