Nothing like a bit of Nick Cage to point out quickly written and badly thought out punchlines :)

I've considered this before, though not sequentially. It's quite a sensible way of putting it. Out of interest, what are your NOPEs?

Well the NOPEs I'm sure most people can relate to as they are more or less common across the board. Naturally some branch from the deeper parts of sexuality and identity and can't be stopped without carving into the onion.

I also suspect that most of us "millenials" have a massive "individualism is good" ego that fills us with nopes. We explode if we have to accept something we've not decided on our own, we give up on goals because its too much hard work to get to it.

I'd say my main nope can be explained by me being a picky misantropic hypocrite. "I don't want to be a member of a club that wants me to be a member" sums it up :p

You probably could go to other Nopes too, but that one is going to be choking them down for now.

so your saying you don't want to be friends with people who want to be your friends?

or is that more situational?

I'd question their sanity in wanting to be my friends yes. But friendships are easier and more casual than relationships so it's not as big a problem there :p

@ Duke

Well you can question me then. I think you're a cool guy and very talented. I definately don't want to have sex with you. I'm very straight. But I see why someone would want to know you. You're a cool guy, get over yourself.

It's mostly a self-ironic condensation made to fit this old quote by Groucho Marx. How deeply I abide to it varies with my mood :p

I'm pretty sure we can throw around quotes all day long...

besides his quotes are more for the troll factor then any logical sense, that's why they're funny and ironic.
