I can't start Mental Omega because whenever I do I get a message that says: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click OK to terminate the application." I installed it in my First Decade RA2 folder if that's the problem. I also had it set to "run as admin" and that didn't help.

This might sound odd, but have you reinstalled the game? Because reinstall usually fixes this.

I did. No luck. I also ran the installation as admin as well. I also re-downloaded it if the file was the problem.

What kind of os are you using? Also it is worth to install/reinstall the latest NET., because several ppl had the same issue and as far as I have seen they fixed it by reinstalling the latest NET.
