My name is Clovis I Merovingian and I was a huge Red Alert 2 fan when I was a kid. I found out about Mental Omega from a guy named Thu Ha Dang. Even though the PsiCorps are my favorite faction lore-wise, I love playing as Russia the most, since they have so much interesting units, and Volkov is awesome. Thank you Mental Omega team for reviving an old game that made my childhood. I even installed this mod to my dad who I loved to watch while he played Red Alert 2.

Hey guys, my name is Winterspring. I've been a mental omega fan for about a year and a half now but I've only found out about the forums recently. I love how active the development of this game is and the amazing and interesting changes that come with every update.

 

Even though the game certainly needs some balancing in certain areas, it's super enjoyable and I play it all the time. The campaign missions are really fun and creative!

 

I created a revora account just so that I could participate in this amazing community. I hope it stays strong like this as long as possible!

 

Also as a sidenote: I'm not aware of any etiquette or certain de facto rules this community has. So I hope someone can bring me up to speed to such things and forgive any ignorant mistakes I make.

Hi, my account name is infini_ty, the name which i also use in different games such as starcraft 2 (offline crack), warcraft 3 (offline mode), dota2, and MO (offline and multiplayer),, but in multiplayer the name is without _ on it,,
I am from indonesia,, in my country i rarely found people who play ra2 and it's mods and expansions since the first time where my brother unintentionally showed ra2 to me, i became addicted, but now as this mod gets popular on youtube, i can also persuade my friend to try the game,,
Im sorry i can barely speak english naturally,,
Now the informations which i would like to tell are:
First time i play ra2: around 2008
Rts games history: ra2->starcraft1->warcraft3->ra2 yr->ra2 yr mo->starcraft2
Interests in mo forum: sharing custom missions and map making techniques

I used to play ra2 skirmish so oftrn, but since i knew final alert 2, im more addicted to making missions, well this has created me some personal problems, lol,, then later when i felt bored of playing, i changed my interest in other type of addicting games, and real life stopped my addiction to ra2 for years

When i found mo at the first time (2015), my interest of playing ra2 comes again, now with the capabilities of the mod, i can expand the map making and other stuffs in ra2 atmosphere, while of course doing my real life needs,,

Greetings. I am Ebonight_5i8er, and I've been interested in Mental Omega ever since watching 2.0 gameplay videos, and was keen to learn more after seeing showcases for 3.3. Really love the mod and have been playing for a year and continuing.

Been lurking around on these forums to hear what others had to say, and I've joined to participate to the community. I enjoy how the mod is continuously updated and mostly well-balanced it is from Vanilla RA2:YR.

Played and enjoyed RA2 and Yuri's Revenge when I was young, and greatly enjoy the C&C series. Now, I'm pretty much playing this mod, RA95, and DTA in my spare time.

I don't know much about modding or designing, but hopefully I might get around and make some of my own content. And I'm not much aware of multiplayer balance, so please excuse my misconceptions of my own outlook of balance changes for the mod.

Great work and thanks for MM making a great mod.

Hiya, I'm Pico, though lately I've gotten more used to going by Thea in various places. I can see this post is a liiiittle inactive, but I'd like to throw my introduction into the pile for what it's worth. Hopefully necroposting isn't an issue in this kind of thread.

 

I first got to use a desktop PC when I was around 5 (13 years ago now), and Red Alert 2 along with Generals (and Zero Hour) happened to be the first games I ever had on it. I first learned of Mental Omega by chance some years back, and I have no idea where. I can only assume it was around 2015, and I know it was 3.0, before Foehn was playable.

 

While I'm pretty bad at keeping up to date with things, I do care a lot about Mental Omega and it is one of my favorite game mods of all time. I've been inviting a handful of friends to play it casually, but without much luck. I'd rather not enter any new circles, though.

 

I enjoy making custom maps, and besides fiddling with the MO client's map maker (with varying success), I also spend some time in Hammer to make small stuff for Garry's Mod. Maybe someday me and my friends will finish a Half-Life 2 map we want to make.

 

Besides that, I'm 18 and currently attending a gymnasium, but it's an uphill struggle because of a complete clusterfuck of nonsensical things, and I can hardly catch a break.

I used to frequent these forums roughly a few years ago, and now i'm back. (Shadow Ring Lurking ftw)

 

Since War3 Reforged dropped, my brain pretty much reverted to its primal state - when regarding large corporations - and now it craves Mental Omega, because this mod now makes me happy whenever I play it, and has since filled the hole in my heart (and foot) that Blizzard shot in it.

 

I've managed to mind-control 2 friends into trying the mod, and so far we've played two matches. So i'm glad I came back to this mod, since it's finally becoming that thing I can play with anyone.

 

 

P.S

I finally got over the fact the Hijacker got moved to Scorpion Cell. (At least the Latin Confederation still has the Desperate Driver)

Hello.

 

I love Red Alert 2. I'll be simple: The Mod is insanely good. Trouble is to track things in a gigantic map with non-stop 24/7 on max speed. Seriously, I can't slow down the game, and I am not a cyborg that can simultaneously render commands on a mapwide battle. I wish the developers made some game speed reductions and more macros.

 

Or hey, let us pause the game once in a while then issue commands in single player like UFO:Aftermath? Or Baldur's Gate? I know I'm reaching.

 

P.S Thanks for attack move though. P + P + Shift-CTRL can finally mop up the enemy.

I am a huge fan and a player of CnC games since I was still in Elementary. The boss of my father played Red Alert 2 (XD) and when I saw him playing, I fell in love with the game instantly because I can't hold it's AWESOMENESS anymore. I'm still playing it until today.

 

I love CnC games, Anime, Mystery books and novels, food ( ), and Mental Omega.

 

I hope I can know more of you fellows! (with the help of Yuri's Mind )

I've been playing RA2 and YR (and RTS games in general) for more than a decade now, and I discovered MO almost a decade ago and I've been playing ever since. I'm very happy to have been part of the community when 3.0 was about to came out/just came out and I have some fond memories of being active here.
