I've been following it on and off. I was originally following it in 1.2, picked it up again in 2.0 psi, and then again around when beta revision 1 of 3.0 came out.

Hello everyone. Sizyfos.31 here, the Confederation fan. My first C&C game was, unsuprisingly, Red Alert 2, which took me much free time, but it was worth it. Yuri's Revenge took me even much more free time, but I love this game, especially the additions, as new voice cips for units and several new infantry (well, actually just navy seals and Boris ) and units.
Another C&C I played for a vast time was Emperor : Battle for Dune, one of last games Westwood published as themselves (I have read, that Generals was their last project, but didn't manage to finish it before the EA catastrophy). And I loved the soundtrack of this game. Frank Klepacky did a good work with Atreides soundtrack, but it was David Arkensone, who had done those badass soundtracks for Harkonnen. I even like them more, than those of RA2/YR. Too bad, this game has awkward moding opportunities (in a notepad).
I don't have much experience with RTS multiplayer, as for long time, when I had been playing RA2, we didn't have internet, but I am trying to get used to new strategies and also to learn to spam units faster and better.
I know Mental Omega since, I guess, 1.something, where it only shrinked infantry and added loads of new maps. Then it caught my eye later, when 2.0 was out. Many of the missions were almost impossible (Yep, Allied M#3, unless invisibility from the truck, I am looking at you) and furthest I got was to the last one, where after destroying the Mental Omega Device, I got stucked with Dreadnought, Killer Whale and Aircraft Carrier.
I also play TF2 and 2D cartoonish MOBA called Awesomenauts, though lately not very often.
I recall some of you forumers in the lobby and got crushed all matches I have played, but one day, I might become pretty decent Confederation revolutionist, who will stand a chance against anyone of you.
Huge bloody wall of text. Sorry, if too long.
This is what I see when anyone misspell Fury Drone as Furry Drone
I made a youtube playlist of songs that may have inspired mission names (at least 50% is correct and seen by Speeder himself)

But you already did and you know it. Claiming, that you are newbie was evil. But I recognized you from here, but wanted to play anyway.

Hiya, I figured I should introduce myself since I have posted here twice already and didn't saw this thread untill now. Name is ShadowE, a Psi Corps fan, but I kinda like every faction n_n
My first C&C game (and also my first video game) was Red Alert 1, and I have been playing the C&C series almost for 15 years now (despite me being 17, idk why my parents allowed me to play RA1 hahaha).
My C&C experience only goes to a certain limit Skirmish-wise, since I have rarely played online due to the fact that I never figured out how to play the game online when I was a kid (I was a dumb kid ). I haven't played a real online game on Mental Omega yet besides 3-4 co-op missions.
I really love building bases in Red Alert 2. I can spend hours making a single base and I would not get bored of it. As of now I have made a Euro Alliance base and a Chinese base with some Allied buildings, with many more to follow

You'd better post it on the screenshots thread then

Hello to everyone in here. I am LewlNewb. I am new to the forums although I am following this mod since 2012 after I played MO 2.0. It is such a fantastic mod although I am such a newbie at the new things added to that mod, hence my name.
C&C Red Alert 2 was my first C&C game. When I got to play Yuri's Revenge, I really enjoyed it as I enjoyed the vanilla RA2.
In MO 3.0, I have no particular favorite factions. It is because every faction in MO 3.0 is unique in their own way.
I tried playing MO 3.0 in multiplayer. Mostly, I lost in those matches. However, it is fun nonetheless.
Btw, forgive my English typing skills as it is not my primary language. Anyways, Thank you and happy commanding armies and conquering foes.

I guess I should probably post something here since I've been more on the forums as of late.
I used to be a beta tester for Mental Omega way back when, I think it was shortly after the release of 2.0psi if I recall correctly. I do know I tested the now-defunct version 2.5 (I think I have a saved backup of that somewhere now that I think of it). I stopped a short while after 3.0 started getting missions. Mainly because I didn't do any actual testing, I could give you a list of nonsensical reasons but it probably comes down to the fact that I was probably more interested in the conceptual development of MO then playing the game, it's that sort of condition where you're more interesting in creating something (like doing modding) then the final product. Which I'll be honest, I wish I did more of because now I actually play a good chunk of it and enjoy the challenge the AI gives. Of course there is also more pragmatic reasons for it, I didn't play many multiplayer games because most of the other testers aren't in my time zone by a long shot and weren't using CnCNet which made it annoying to setup multiplayer in the first place.
I do other modding stuff outside of playing Mental Omega though, nothing public though. I got a couple threads over at PPM. One for a total conversion that I'll probably remake in the future, since I don't really like how it went for a myriad of reasons. Another for a Red Alert 2 sort of remake, which I'll probably end up reworking a lot of, mainly because I dislike the choice of art assets I used.
Currently, I'm working on a sort of Shock Trooper SHP over at PPM. I also made a small campaign for Twisted Insurrection which I'll undoubtedly expand once I get back into the mod, I do have ideas for it on the shelf given I introduced what I think as a TI version of the Forgotten into the fan fiction, since they were lacking a sort of independent group of scavengers. (Aro doesn't like the Forgotten really so I doubt they'll ever show up.)
EDIT: Just removed some nonsense that, in hindsight, is probably left better in a PM.

I'm a MO3 tester and I'd like to ask whether you could send me that 2.5 version. I'm interested in how it would look like.

I've tried looking for it, but I think it is probably on a different machine unfortunately, either that or I deleted it but I doubt I did that.

Greetings, fellow Commanders, Comrades and Proselytes! I am nikitazero678, and I am an avid player of C&C series since I was a little boy, with RA2 being my first game.
Although I may be quite skilled in C&C games (especially RA2 and Generals), but I don't know whether those skills will work in MO due to the drastic changes there. I will also watch over the mod's development and gave feedbacks to make it better in the future.
See you in the field - but go easy on me because of my mix of steamrolling and turtling tactics I often employed - !

I am Malekron and I look forward to Scorpion Cell's BR2 gameplay, I have several ideas involving a bunch of Tyrants, Malver and drillers, weaver ambushes, and a magnificent Toxic Cloak in combination with Dune Riders or Archers for kiting/retreating infantry and tanks.

Petya, it got leaked over Chinese forums (there were a Chinese betatester... doesn't that remind you of anything?). Pretty sure even Google gives you a hit.
Even I have that leaked version, imported from China.
Why would it remind me of anything?
