One of the great things in RA2 was the IFV. If you had access to other factions, the experiments started. In MO you also have these IFV's, which leads to new and strange comebos.

I started this topic to document all these strange combos. So feel free to post your own newly-found combos. :)

The combos:
IFV+ Stolen tech(except Suppressor)= Strange wave weapon that does heavy damages to vehicles.
IFV+ Crazy Ivan= You would think a smaller demotruck, but NO. It lobs Friggin' dynamite. It does great damage to buildings.
IFV+ Hero= Mercury Space laser.
IFV+ Weaver= Chaos Drone/ Quad.

Cryo Commando = Stolen Tech, thus all Stolen Tech except Suppressor (takes 2 passenger slots) = that weapon

Tanya/Hero IFV, why? because the whole laser pointer straight from the IFV just looks out of sync when the laser instantly "paints" the area. If the projectile had a delay it would be more believable.

You are wrong there, Doomhammer. It really works. Maybe I will make a screenshot of it.

The logic is that Cryo commander is Stolen Tech, and like with vanilla, all Stolen Tech would provide the same IFV weapon.

But since Supporessor takes up 2 passenger slots, it doesn't fit in an IFV :p

not only does the wave weapon of Stolen Tech IFV do serious damage to tanks and buildings, but it pierces too, even through your own forces so you really need to be careful on where those IFV's are comparedto where the rest of your forces are

All the heroes do in IFV have Portable Mercury(except Yunru because she uses 2 slots)

And 'that' weapon the Stolen Tech IFV is a railgun. Railguns always damage anything in their path.

It does not look like a railgun, more like a sonic weapon like the disruptor of TS.

Just imagine it as a sonic wave like the Dolphins used to have, but way more amplified. Sound will travel through and damage everything in its path, much like a railgun does.

Can't forget that Siegried also doesn't fit in the IFV and Norio can't get in either

It doesn't though. I tried forcefiring a Stolen Tech IFV at several of my own units and structures - nothing. Most likely because you'd need several of them to get through enemy forces because of their weak armor, and them destroying each other wouldn't help the situation much.

Since sniper is no more in Skirmish/MP you can't actually use it but I guess it's the same old Sniper IFV.

IMO Sniper IFVs were so OP vs infantry, their RoF and range were too great.

You can't get Snipers at all but you can get Virus and you can capture an Allied base/mind control an IFV and have fun.

Tho idk if Virus IFV have the poison warheads or normal.

I would have to try that to verify that.

Wait, Viruses are Stolen Tech. So the weapon would be that amplified dolphin wave of destruction.
