Why oh why did he fail at art school. Had he perhaps not have been rejected by his Jewish art tutors then his antisemitic views would never have existed and therefore the holocaust never have happened.

I gotta say, the more of his paintings I see, the more I find them appealing. It's a bit of a shame he was part of the cause of millions of deaths.

I saw those. Interesting stuff, though I personally dislike similar medieval art. It makes me feel uncomfortable, the way everyone's killing everyone else with blank expressions.

Meh, Derks isn't exactly varied. Women's and childrens' faces and dogs, plus a couple of abstracts among hundreds of the former.
