So I heard. I like the art style so far. A slightly grittier, more painterly Bioshock Infinite.

I haven't played Bioshock Infinite yet (but do own it), so I guess I can assume it's a more cheerful, tighter Dishonored? :p

From what I've seen so far they are sort of similar, yeah :p

No sneaking in Bioshock Infinite, though.

That'll make it an entirely different game for me then, since I played Dishonored almost entirely in the sneaky way.

There is some stealth in Infinite, but it's awful.  In fact, every aspect of combat in Infinite just needs to be thrown into a pit of acid and be completely remade.  I hear it's better in the two expansions, especially Burial at Sea, but those are no way cheap enough right now.  I've done gone broke from the other 10 games I've bought.

I do not understand how people are still enjoying Day Z still with all of these awful game-breaking glitches... and lack of game.  It's literally an optional free-for-all in a map that is way too big, with buggy zombies that rarely do anything.  But have you checked out the Day Z Epoch servers?  Those are actually quite alright.  It's the same glitchy game, except with so much more in it, and actual goals.  And apparently you can build your own home in it, which is interesting and apparently very difficult.

Tell you what buddy!
Its Alpha Version, means its not fixed yet.To better explain, lets tell you this : Revora is now working on new launcher, right?Okay,so,they can release it now,but they still didn't finish all their job, some stuff are missing, there are glitchy things, and they wont release it probably until they put it all right.
Well, now you got DayZ,which producers released us DayZ Standalone !ALPHA VERSION!,as you can read it on steam, its just an alpha version, its not full game if i can tell like that,so,as fast as they finish the whole game,it will be out.
But there is only one thing that scares me :
The zombies aren't the threat,no,they aren't,you should be aware of humans, blood thirsty bandits.
I am a good friend of jackfrags, the guy who does all kind of gameplays on youtube, recently,in an gameplay he did,on the end,he and his friends got killed by a guy with who they played all the day.
Jack was desperated,so as his friends, because once you die in this game, you lose your character, everything's gone and you need to make new account.
Now whats the point? 10% of the people get killed by zombies,50% of an bandit,40% of a friend.
That's why i'll go for Solo when i get it,i won't be a bandit,i will help freshman's,help people in danger, but i will never get close too much, won't cross that line.
And i find the game really realistic :)

Dunno why people want realistic games.  I thought reality was this awful thing that snuffed out fun and burnt down orphans.  Yes, orphans.

But I understand the game is in alpha.  It's been in alpha since the dawn of dawning.  I follow the progress of both the mod and the stand-alone, but what the heck is being done?  People have been spending thousands on this game, and the animations are still broken, the physics are still wonky, the content is still lacking , the zombies still glitch through walls and don't know how to behave when entering a building, the ladder climbing is still hilariously awkward... it's a big list.  And this is a product they are asking money for.  And not a small amount either.  30 bucks for the stand-alone, and the progress is painfully slow.  Alpha is alpha, but when they ask for money, I have expectations.

So DayZ is an early access Alpha?

You shouldn't have to pay to play a beta let alone an alpha, you pay to play finished projects.

If they are making so much money off of an unfinished alpha why would they ever seek to finish the game?

People have got to stop giving money to bad game developers so we stop getting such horrible messes.

You think its easy to make such a game?  :p
Obviously they did.

That makes you smarter than 90% of the internet.  Which is quite the thing to brag about, I must say.   Most people just threw their money without question at Steam when they saw a stand-alone announced.  And if 3 years pass and I still hear 'alpha is alpha' for that game, then you might be thankful to have never invested.  Because if you think about it, the developers could quit right now and make a profit so hansom, they wouldn't have to work another day in their lives.

Yeah :) Well,my point is : Its alpha, its not worth throwing almost 30£ on it,but its steam summer sale,if they put it for atleast 50% less,i might buy it actually.
Why? Well, alot of my friends[temporary everyone  has over 100,000 subscribers] are playing, doing commentaries, and their channels are growing actually quite good, and game looks good, you can kiddnap people and torture them :) thats my style, swag bandit style.
Anyways,i would do gameplays and such, but i'd also have alot of fun with them. :)
But yea,i'm not going to buy it if it doesn't get on atleast 50% or they release Full version.

DayZ looks like it could end up being fun, but this caught my attention recently.

Finally got Europa Universalis 4. Played the demo when it came out.

Started my first campaign as France, managed to do well and unify the country, taking the English terriritories there and annexing my vassals that were dividing the land. Got into a war with Burgundy that didn't go well for either of us but we settled with no losses on either side. After a few years I recuperated and went at them again, managing to capture most of their territory including the trade capital Antwerp. The first 75 years went very nicely... then I managed to get into another war with England, this time they were joined by Austria and couple of smaller nations. My armies were smashed, my economy in ruins with 15 or so loans taken out in attempt to recruit units faster... in the end I had to settle and lost a lot of territory back to England, and I'm stuck with terrible debt. I've taken most of Savoy since then but struggling with lots of rebellions. I now know the cost of war.

So yeah, it's a fun game. :p

Goat Sim is now co-op, and it's quite alright with a friend to go around trying to get silly achievements.

Got The Walking Dead, Season 1 for 6 bucks.  It should have cost that much for years... there is no way in Sid Meier's personal hell that I would spend 30 bucks for one of your cut-scene games, Telltale.
